The hotel is very well maintained and showcases amazing Kashmiri culture. The property is about 2.5kms from Nishat Garden which helped us visit Nishat view point and carry out Shikara ride. Shalimar Gardens are at a walking distance from this hotel. This hotel serves amazing food both veg and non veg. The dining hall is absolutely stunning and restaurant manager Mr Abdul is a wonderful host. Excellent room service was provided throughout. Staff is very young and co-operative. They go out of their way to provide lovely service to their customers. Special mention to Mr Faisal for the service provided to us.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent stay at your hotel from 15 seep to 17. I had high expectations, but my experience fell far short of those expectations.

Manager was courteous enough to upgrade our room to premium category. Also added free breakfast to our booking. Rooms are in good condition. Dal lake is about 2 kms away which you can walk if you are not with family since its like walking at highway no footpath available.

Grand Mahal is a beautiful property at walking distance to dal lake through foreshore road and shalimar garden away from city hustle. Rooms are beautiful but needs maintenance

The hotel is nice and value for money. The hotel location is very good, near shalimar bagh and agriculture university underneath the lush green mountain. Staff is courteous -excellent stay.
