The shower did not have enough pressure so it was hard to feel clean/get soap out. Another friend's shower had too much power and sprayed hard in multiple crazy directions. The vanity mirror light did not work in most of the rooms our friends had but it did in ours. And the lighting in the rooms is very minimal so that mirror is necessary. The street was sometimes closed off due to construction so Lyft drivers were easily confused, but sometimes it wasn't. We woke up one morning at 8 am to the sound of a jack hammer right outside the window. It didn't stop that morning but the lady at the front desk did call and make sure it didn't happen again which we very much appreciated. When we checked in, there was a water station in the lobby. It broke and they did not set up another one, but said we would need to go to the main hotel to get water. There were a lot of negatives but the rooms themselves are very large and lofty (as the name suggests). It has a TON of potential but needs better service/management.

Une chambre vraiment immense à la deco moderne. Emplacement vraiment top à 2 pas de canal Street et du French QUarter Nous avons presque tout fait à pied même Garden District Un peu de bruit de la rue cependant mais raisonnablement Pour la vue ville, je ne pourrai pas dire vu que nous étions au 1er étage et donc vue sur le mur d’en face .. mon seul bémol est que c’est une annexe de l’hôtel IH et qu’il n’y a pas de réception, pas de personnel sur place Il faut faire le Check in et le Check out dans l’hôtel situé dans la rue à côté. C’est mal indiqué on a beaucoup cherché Sinon je recommande

★☆☆☆☆ Avoid Unless You're a Giant Who Loves Lukewarm Bath-Coffee I recently stayed at Loft 523 in New Orleans, and while the location in the Central Business District is great, the room design is an absolute ergonomic nightmare. I am convinced this room was designed by someone who has never actually lived inside a human body. First of all, the bathroom is completely unusable. The shower head is mounted so absurdly high that you realistically have to be 7 feet tall just to reach up and adjust it, let alone stand under it without the water turning to a fine mist before it reaches you. To make matters worse, they decided the absolute best place for the coffee pot was on the bathroom counter. There is nothing quite like brewing your morning espresso right next to a toilet. Moving into the actual bedroom area, things do not get any better. The "minimalist" furniture is a joke. The nightstands are roughly 6 inches tall, meaning they sit flat on the floor. If you want to grab your phone or a glass of water in the middle of the night, you have to practically roll out of bed and grovel on the concrete floors to reach it. The lighting throughout the space is also completely terrible; the entire room is shrouded in a dim, dreary gloom that makes it nearly impossible to see what you are doing or unpack your bags. Finally, the entertainment system is a literal museum piece. There is a massive, boxy TV straight out of the 1980s sitting in the room. I would almost find it a charming vintage touch, except for the fact that it does not even turn on. The property claims to offer a "contemporary, luxury loft environment," but it feels more like a collection of broken appliances and bizarre architectural choices. Skip this place unless you want to spend your New Orleans vacation stretching for the shower and crawling for your nightstand.
