Excellent hotel: clean with friendly staff. Beds very comfortable and staff willing to go out of the way for you eg book taxis and store luggage; open doors etc. wheelchair access is good. Stayed two nights in September 2025. Aircon was a relief from the hot New Orleans weather. Hotel was very quiet at night.

The location is pretty good, nice food and cafe nearby, but not as busy as French Quarter. The room would be great if the amenities are working normally — the hairdryer, the telephone were broke at first and the toilet malfunctioned throughout our stay. Most of the staff is nice and welcoming, but certain one is very rude and indifferent. When we asked to change room due to those poor conditions, the front desk refused and sent another staff to check our room, who left us with a broken hairdryer, telephone and a toilet till next morning. Btw the toilet is never fixed. Imagine you cannot flush the toilet and have to wait for it beginning working every time you use it.  I would say this is the worst Hilton experience I ever had.

The hotel has a great lobby but the room and bathroom is old. The water heater doesn't seem to work properly, and I had to have several cold showers. The water in the room is also not free. The elevators also didnt work well. For some reason you couldn't get to the gym level in one of the elevators. It couldn't really compare with the hotel down the street that I stayed at the night before (Hotel Indigo) which has much nicer bathroom showers but not as fancy of a lobby.

The stay was decent. The tile was busted in the entrance of our room so we wore footwear to make sure we didn't cut our feet. When our room was cleaned the cleaning lady threw away our souvenir cups which was disappointing and we still haven't received our deposit back yet.
