Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is very convenient. Facilities are good. I did however have a cluster of ants in my room. They were swiftly dealt with by staff within about 5 minutes after reporting. I was grateful for being able to leave luggage prior to check in but a bit disappointed i had to pay 2 nzd to store luggage in a locked on departure for about 90 to 120 minutes. I can understand charges for longer periods of left luggage on check out, but under 2 hours seemed a bit unfortunate. However i would still recommend the YHA for others, although if you want a more "party" type hostel, this isn't it.

最低限のドミトリーと考えて良いでしょう。私の部屋では臭いが獨特のにおいがしたのであまり良い環境ではないと感じました。 値段相応のドミトリーかなと言う印象でした。

The first experience when checking in was good. Male receptinist is actually horrible asked to move room after not sleeping. My partner called as a family emergenc. was going on at 9 and got told very impolitely by the roomatewho kept me up all night and asked to switch rooms. I got told no even after saying id pay the extra for smaller room. Then ended up in a screeming match of me being forced to apologise like a 5 year old to a girl who kept me up all night. Hence asking to kindly switch rooms. Horrible experiance would not reccomend at all.
