We stayed one night at this ryokan. As it was low season, we were given three huge ryokans. Dinner was sukiyaki with all organic vegetables n chicken fresh from their farms. Very generous portion. The place is clean n AC worked well. We had private onsen too.

體驗很特別的傳統日式旅館，老闆娘健談利落，一個人端著超大餐盤上下樓無比麻溜，完全看不出是50後。加分項一定是溫泉啦！私湯並不稀有，但把山包進私湯房間的旅館不常見！很解乏。有機會再來！

We booked for 2 adult and 2kids, (listed clearly in the booking) but they only got a booking for 2 adult. (from the third party incoming book ( not 訂房網站.com) . We both feel confused. They asked for add money if we add 2 kids (they will provide additional bed and food) , but we refused. Finally we haven't add money and only have accommodation for 2 adults. Lady was nice even she confuse about the booking,(that's 訂房網站.com problem not their's ) food were good. only got heater in the room but not in corridor and toilet.

We had a wonderful stay at Ryokan Kigusuriya. The location is peaceful and surrounded by nature. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the delicious chicken sukiyaki dinner and beautifully prepared Japanese breakfast. There’s also a private small onsen, perfect for relaxing. You can really feel the care and effort from the owner and his wife. Highly recommended for a quiet getaway!
