Как водится, желающих плавать именно в море, немного. Но даже просто находиться на пляже - сплошное удовольствие. Я третий раз в Маскате и на текущий момент St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat мой самый любимый отель. Расположен в роскошном районе Al Mouj. За полчаса можно дойти до центра района с причалом для яхт. Очень милое место! На территории отеля множество ресторанов. Мои фавориты - греческий Zobra и итальянский Roberto`s. Сотрудники греческого ресторана ежедневно бесплатно предлагают отдыхающим на пляже попробовать закуски и это очень приятно! Отель предоставляет возможность абсолютно бесплатно каждый день пользоваться услугой глажки одежды для 2 вещей, что очень удобно. Помимо пляжа, каждый день ходила в спортивный клуб, который располагает достаточно разнообразным набором тренажëров, так что любители фитнеса точно не будут разочарованы. У меня с собой не было спортивной формы и узнав об этом мой butler Ali Shafiq и его коллега Hussain просто подарили мне спортивные леггинсы и майку. Я была очень тронута таким вниманием! Housekeeper Gayan делал совершенно удивительные фигурки животных, которые оставлял, убираясь в моём номер. Каждый день меня ждал сюрприз - новая фигурка. Я знаю, что так делают и в других отелях, но Gayan ни разу не повторился за все 12 дней моего пребывания. В лобби лаунж очень элегантное кафе и можно наслаждаться чаем/кофе в расслабленной обстановке. Red berries sorbet абсолютно восхитительный! И хочу особенно отметить очень душевного парня по имени Ryan из Филиппин. Его искренняя улыбка и внимание просто окрыляют! Поскольку мой английский сильно так себе, мне очень помог Aidar - парень из Казахстана, он исправил путаницу с моими заказами. Как только Aidar подключился, проблем больше не возникало. Я была абсолютно счастлива! Если вы размышляете, стоит ли выбрать St. Regis - не сомневайтесь! Отель новый и абсолютно шикарный!

The hotel was amazing and i highly recommend it if ypu are looking for a luxury hotel in Muscat! The room was big enough!

Decent hotel, rooms were big for nothing really cheap and plain decor fake marble tiles room interior was not matching the hotel price or downstairs lobby, for the price of hotel all amenities and mini bar was chargeable also price of breakfast was not worth the money, the dressing table was a joke unusable plugs socket on dressing table, huge construction site outside the hotel only attraction was the 5 star restaurants on site keep your wallets loaded 😉

New hotel with good views . However it is new and still some amenities are under construction like restaurants. Not worth the price paid could get better at other hotels for better price. Not much to do nearby in the hotel too out of city.

Good and clean

I normally don’t like to review hotels, especially not with negative comments. This hotel is small, clean, hygienic, and the staff are friendly. But there is one extremely bad issue: the noise environment. At 1 a.m., the restaurant downstairs is still playing loud music. It feels like staying right above a nightclub, and the “nightclub” not only has no soundproofing, but is completely open-air. I couldn’t sleep well for three nights, which seriously affected my travels the next day. The hotel is clearly aware of this environment. They should ask guests before check-in whether they can accept this noise, and arrange quieter rooms for those who cannot. The problem is that the hotel is small and built around the restaurants, all of which are open-air, and one of them is extremely loud. I have never seen a hotel like this — even ordinary hotels wouldn’t allow this. I really don’t understand how any hotel inspector could have approved it. Another issue: there is no dedicated pathway from the rooms to the swimming area. Guests wearing swimsuits or bathrobes must pass through the lobby, reception, and café, which is very inconvenient and not appropriate. Another problem: if you are self-driving, you need to detour several kilometers just to drive into the hotel. The most frustrating part is still the restaurant noise. I tolerated it for three nights because: • On the first night, I thought it might be a wedding or a special event, so I used earplugs. • On the second night, I realized it was actually the restaurant’s music. I contacted C訂房網站 — their support team was excellent and responded quickly. The hotel offered to change my room, but I was too tired to pack my things. • On the third night, I had to visit the cliff early in the morning, but poor sleep delayed my departure. Coming back, I was exhausted again. After three nights of not sleeping well, I was completely worn out. When I returned from the desert, I just wanted a nice hotel to rest, but the experience turned out to be the opposite. To be clear, the hotel staff and the C訂房網站 team were both very good. The final bill at checkout was also incorrect, though I believe the front desk staff didn’t do it intentionally. Because I hadn’t slept well, I woke up late and had to rush to wash the car and return it. While waiting at the car wash, I finally checked my mobile banking and realized I had been overcharged. Two dinners and two coffees totaled 245.8 OMR. But the charges were: • At check-in: £390.57 • At checkout: £1,045.52 • Total: £1,436.09 In reality, it should have been around £476.62 when converted. The bill was very simple and not complicated at all.
