Excellent location between Glasgow and Edinburgh. Ultra modern hotel with walk-in shower. Spacious bathroom and heated towel racks. Comfortable bed with sky television. Writing desk with two luxury chairs. Telephone in room connecting instantly to the reception desk. Bar and restaurant facilities. Thank you.

The hotel is nice however management is very rude - room cleaning did not come to our room at all throughout the stay, informed the receptionist and we were informed that this would not happen again during the stay and also informed that it would be corrected. Understood that mistakes can happen on first time. The second day they even lied that the room service had been present however there was a “relaxing” sign on the door which was not the case. On the morning of the check out spoke to the general manager Natasha, who had no PR skills at all and did not even care, her response to everything was “ok”. I am not sure if this is how she treats everyone or it is because we are people of colour. I will definitely be taking it further as this is not the service which we had paid for

Great hotel, clean, tidy and staff very friendly. If you have a Tesla even better as the superchargers are in the car park.

Nice entrance and lounge area with a bar and grill so was good to be able to eat and have a drink without leaving the hotel. Rooms were clean and modern with plenty power points and optional lighting Was impressed and a full breakfast to top it off. Would stay again. Thanks.

Initial impressions of the hotel were fairly good (we had an issue with the automatic doors only opening around 15cm, and we checked in and left to attend a meal elsewhere. When we returned, we enjoyed a cocktail in the bar (which was excellent) and retired to our room. The first issue we encountered was that the lights in the room were flickering, but simply switching off the ceiling lights solved the issue (it was late). The main issues arose when we attempted to sleep - the bed was very uncomfortable, particularly the pillows. We also started to notice quite significant swings in temperature from the air conditioning, which was also making a lot of intermittent noise. I was unable to get any sleep at all, and eventually, at around 6am got up to have a shower and head home; at that point I also discovered that there was only one towel, so only one of us was able to shower. To make matters worse, guest relations offered us a complimentry upgrade as a goodwill gesture - as if I want to waste more money to return!!! I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

We knew that the hotel was remote, but you’re central for all areas to travel. Absolutely excellent stay, receptionist was so friendly with a lovely warm welcome. Room decor and cleanliness was fantastic. Bar and food service was excellent, food was amazing and bar service was so attentive. Loved our stay and will certainly return and also try other Dakota hotels.
