蒙特利爾零一酒店 (Hotel Zero 1 Montreal)

很差，根本不值1000的費用，擔保金也不是退房後就直接退還，説是3到5個工作日，還不知道能不能退還！前台那幾個黑哥也不太友善

酒店位置非常好，就在唐人街牌樓對面，步行到地鐵站就幾百米，到麥吉爾大學步行約15分鐘。來回機場的大巴747路，在酒店門口有一站。酒店員工態度很好。酒店雖然臨街，但隔音很好，晚上沒有噪音。

很可怕的一次體驗，晚上10點入住，接持前台不開大燈，大堂漆黑很恐怖。房間衞生很差，床上有黑色小顆粒和頭髮，床品很差，床墊已經凹凸不平，床邊上還剛好有個噴淋頭。洗手盤邊角位有黃跡，淋浴房很窄，胖一點都轉不過身。洗完頭用吹風機發現是壞的，吹風機按鈕裡都是塵，然後用房間電話打去前台，發現電話也是壞的，不拿起話筒不知道里麵竟然也是佈滿灰塵，下樓去前台換吹風機，前台在櫃子找了一個出來，我們不放心讓她試試，竟然也是壞的，因為整個酒店就她一個人，她給一個還沒收拾的房間房卡我們上去自己找。因為酒店燈光很暗，衹有一邊電梯，裝修好粗造，整體感覺都很不安全，我們上去查看樓道標識發現沒此房號就馬上下來，前台才説是另一邊酒店的房卡，讓我們去另一邊上電梯，我們又去另一邊才找到。前台態度是好的，老説對不起，但卻造成客人大半夜提心吊膽跑上跑下。 無論衞生，配套，服務等等都是完全不符合這個酒店的價位，酒店上面的圖片是用了廣角和濾鏡的，存在欺騙客人訂房，貨不對板。這個酒店就象青年旅館，同等價位可以住三星級酒店了，自己大意了。

We stayed at Hotel Zero 1 for the Just For Laughs Festival originally for 4 nights which turned into 5 when our flight was canceled. The hotel is located perfectly whether you are going shopping along St Catherine's, doing the JFL Festival or hitting the Old Port water front. All is in close walking distance. The hotel is very clean and seems to be recently renovated. We stayed in a loft room #1113. Everything is good however the shower could be a bit larger (felt like we were in Europe) with more water pressure. Contrary to other reviews there is no issue with hot water. The only negative I would say is the bed, it is supposed to be a queen (although the room is large and can accommodate a king bed) but it is smaller than a traditional 'north American' queen size bed. Feels more like a double which is more in line with a euro queen. The bed was not very comfortable but after the 4th night sleep we were finally getting used to it. The housekeeping and front desk staff are very nice. We will consider staying here again upon our next visit to Montreal mainly based on its location to everything .

Belle accueille! Super bien placé a deux minutes du quartier chinois. Pour notre première visite la chambre a été surclassée très belle vue de là-haut!

I get why this is a 3-star hotel and not a 4-star one. It’s fine for the most part, but the cleanliness and the attention to detail are just not there. The hallways are super dark. The room was modern and brutalist aesthetic. The bathroom was small but well designed. But the carpet and the bedroom bench had gross stains on them. Some of the fake wood furniture were obviously chipped. The leather on one chair looked discoloured. I expect beautifully architectured hotels at the core of the city to do better than this. The lounge is only open for dinner and it’s almost deserted. Fortunately, there is a convenience store accessible from inside the hotel, but I expected room service. A+ to the staff though. They were very polite and helpful.

The hotel is in the prime location, easily accessible by bus or train.

I’ve been coming to Hotel Zero 1 for a few years, being the only hotel I book in Montreal due to its impeccable walkability. That being said, it’s unfortunate that it’s no longer shiny and new, you can really see the wear and tear over the years. If you want luxury you’re not going to find it here; however, it’s still a great place to stay for the action packed traveller who wants somewhere a bit nicer than a motel to stay. I booked knowing full well it wasn’t going to be the most amazing stay but it was not as bad as some of the Google reviews make it out to be- it’s just dated. The room was clean, check in and check out was easy, and even though the valet service is closed, the parkade they directed us to was safe and straightforward. I’d categorize this hotel as 3 stars as the amenities aren’t that great, but just know what you’re walking into, manage your expectations to that, and you will have a great stay. It’s just kind of a shame to see a hotel that I have great memories in not keep up with maintaining the property. If they repaired the fabric on the bed, replaced the shower heads and updated with smart TVs, that would make a world of difference. TLDR; Pros: clean linens, cable tv, microwave and fridge in the room Cons: dated technology, broken Roku, only one elevator for the whole building, no on site parking.
