Our worst stay in Costa Rica. When built, I am sure it was an amazing property. However, after running for a few years, it looks like the management company or the hosts decided not to maintain it, and a lot of things are either not working or on its last legs. The sink was leaking upon our arrival, with a dirty paddle on the floor. There were jungle beasts inside the house (spiders, mosquitoes, beetles and a massive grasshoppery thing) that we kept hunting and dealing with. The water in the shower didn't really get hot, and reading previous reviews, I understand that it's an outstanding issue. To top it all, we had barking dogs on both sides of the property barking all night long, which didn't help with the relaxing atmosphere. Disappointing overall.
