司登德酒店 (Hotel du Stand)

Tldr; Even though it's unlikely that everyone else staying here will not have the same experience, do not stay at this hotel out of principle of how they treat their customers. Extremely poor experience at this hotel. Check in process was unusual, on a video call with someone working remotely, but was mostly fine. They tried to get my payment again, but I knew I had already paid and had to show them to "prove" it. Easy way to get scammed into paying twice "accidentally". Got room key and room immediately smelt like urine, with urine like stains on the floor. Was given a room with no bathroom, with no indication online at all of a shared bathroom, and a private bathroom shown in all photos. Shared bathroom was grimy. No towels provided or any amenities at all such as a kettle. Complained to the remote staff on the video call. These people are trained to act like robots and say the same scripted phrases whenever someone has a problem or complaint. Seen other people there experience the same thing. Extremely rude, pretending to be on mute, smirking at the problems, intentionally speaking different languages, etc. Essentially trolling to avoid dealing with problems. This is easy to do when on a video call and not in person. It's also a discord call, so the other remote staff are there watching in the background, probably getting some entertainment out of it. Not having a private toilet in a hotel was already bad enough, but the smell made the room unbearable to stay in. Was forced to leave and spend 2 hours finding another hotel. Do not stay at this hotel. They are scammers.
