Dear MakeMyTrip Team, I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent hotel stay in Hotel Solitaire Chandigarh, booked through your platform. The experience was far below acceptable standards and did not align with the amenities and services promised at the time of booking. Here are the specific issues we faced during our stay: 1. Lack of Basic Amenities: Even something as basic as a water bottle was not provided readily. Despite calling over five times, we received just one bottle after considerable delay. 2. The hotel listing claimed to provide a dental kit, which was not available. When asked, the staff casually responded with, “It’s finished,” showing no intent to resolve the issue. 3. Misleading Information on Complimentary Breakfast: We had confirmed a day prior that breakfast would be served around 7:00 AM as my sister had an exam. However, when my father and sister went at 8:00 AM, not only was the breakfast not ready, but there were also other guests expressing similar concerns. After much insistence, they were provided with just a parantha. 4. Unprofessional and Arrogant Staff: The staff’s behavior was extremely uncooperative and rude, adding to our discomfort. Due to this disappointing experience, we had no choice but to check out a day early, despite having booked a 2-night stay. We request a refund for the unused night and urge you to take this matter seriously.Unfortunately, this experience has been anything but satisfactory. Please initiate the refund process at your earliest convenience. I hope appropriate action will be taken against the property for falsely advertising services. Looking forward to your prompt response.

Unclean room: There was a used teabag lying on the floor of the 'freshly cleaned room' they provided me. It wasn't cleared even after raising it to their staff. Unresponsive phone lines: I wanted to meet a guest at 0700 in the hotel. Checked with the reception whether food / in-room dining options would be available so early, and I was assured there would be. I called the staff at 0545 and 0615, and no one responded. Had to replan with the guest at 0630 at a different venue. I could hear the phones ringing from inside the room, and the staff was fast asleep. Also, no hot water in the morning. And no one to help with it.

Hotel solitaire, chandigarh has lost its old sheen. It requires overall renovation, contemporary practices and rejuvenation of the hotel staff which looks like the government office stuff. Otherwise, people have lot more other options available in the surrounding.

First of all the pics shown in the display at make my 訂房網站 are not the actual pics of the hotel. The room given to me was not sanitized at all. Secondly, the room service was the worst. Thirdly, i was charged 500 rupees extra at checkout which was out of my understanding. When i argued with them, they told me that this was the charge of the third person accompanying us, although i had already a booking for three persons. I will not recommend anybody to stay in this hotel. Worst ever experience. Not expected at all. I request to make my 訂房網站 not to suggest such bad hotels.
