Voco hotel Mekkah heeft mij positief verrast! Een super mooie hotel en zeer vriendelijke personeel. De kamer was erg ruim en voorzien van alle faciliteiten. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en lekker. Voorts staan er altijd genoeg bussen voor de deur om naar Moskee Alharam vervoerd te worden. Kortom een super mooie 5⭐️ hotel voor een redelijke prijs. Volgende keer boek ik weer Voco!

The hotel is a number 8 towers which look like they used to be apartments. Very high end, with lots of lifts and friendly reception staff in the lobby. We had a partial view of the clock tower which was nice. They offer a good buffet breakfast, restaurant and in room dining options, however, the wait times for eggs and pancakes is too long. The hotel also offers a shuttle service, 5-10 minutes wait and which can be manic during busy times. People push and shove to get on as its everyman for himself like you would see in third world country. The shuttle service is 10-15 minutes to Haram and is about 20 minute walk to the holy mosque. I would prefer to be closer to the mosque next time and within a 5 -10 minite walking distance as getting to prayers in the mosque requires being early about 1 hours before if you want to pray infront of the Kabaa and can make one lazy to go back and forth because of the distance and waiting for shuttles.

الفندق نظيف بشكل عام و الخدمة ممتازة ، لكن الاستقبال زحمة و لايوجد موظفين على الكاونترات ، الغرفة نظيفة لكن الوسائد رائحتها كريهة

1- overall excellent for the price. 2- check in process was slow, you need to know your booking is in which tower, otherwise you may waste time waiting and then they direct you to another tower. 3- excellent shuttle services to Haram.

Great hotel with great rooms and amenities. 24 hr shuttle service to Haram Sharif. Buses leave on regular basis. Everytime we wanted to go to Haram, a bus was waiting. Friendly staff, great breakfast, definitely worth opting for when selecting a room. We stayed at Tower 4 which has all the restaurants, hence breakfast was very easy to get too. 3 restaurants serving breakfast, so if one is full, they move guests to the other restaurants. Rooms were great. We had rooms with two double bed and three single beds. Double bed for someone like us from USA is equivalent to California king bed and single beds are the size of twin beds. Impressive cabinetry space in the room however, not enough room for luggage bags if you have more than two large bags and a hand carry. Clean bathrooms with all amenities. We had to request house keeping to have our main room cleaned. The second room with three single beds never got cleaned. So rooms are not automatically cleaned on daily basis. We stayed for three nights.

Zeer tevreden over Voco. Veel liften, mooie grote badkamer .Ontzettend veel shuttlebussen waardoor je amper hoeft te wachten. In vergelijk met Swisshotel Makkah waar ik ontevreden over was kwa hygiëne, kleine badkamer, drukte etc etc geef ik VOCO een dikke 10.
