Location is far from the center on foot. The hotel is quite a distance from Mahdia’s old town and main attractions – not walkable if you’re expecting a quick stroll to the medina or beachfront restaurants. Cleanliness is below average. Don’t go with high expectations. While cleaning is done daily, the materials used (bed linens, towels, furniture) are old, stained, and often feel unclean. Not recommended for solo female travelers or groups of women. The entire staff engages in staring and verbal harassment – it’s constant and uncomfortable. Other guests’ behavior is ignored by management. Safety and respect are serious concerns here. Overall: outdated, unclean, and unsafe for women. Only consider if you’re on a very tight budget and traveling with a male companion. Otherwise, look elsewhere.
