Fourth and worst hotel we’ve stayed at in Lynchburg. ☹️ We had high hopes, but this hotel smells old and musty all throughout. We spent as little time as possible in it because we were so worried about the mold smell (I’ve traveled all over Asia so my tolerance is pretty high). One elevator was broken, and the working one felt super rickety. Nothing felt fresh or clean about the hotel — it’s all old and very used feeling. The shower worked on and off. Honestly we kept comparing our experience at the Lynchburg Grand to a motel we stayed at in Lynchburg once. It felt like we paid 3 times the price of a motel for a motel-ish experience. We stayed at the Holiday Inn last time we were in Lynchburg and seriously regretted not staying there again. Stay elsewhere if possible, this place isn’t worth the hype or money.

El hotel tiene una excelente ubicación. Los cuartos son grandes, la cama es grande, el baño tamaño normal. Es un hotel viejo que no se lo esta manteniendo ni renovando. Tiene alfombras viejas y sucias, es incomodo bañarse porque el agua sale de la bañadera, el techo del baño tiene manchas de humedad, los ascensores no estan limpios. Hacen el servicio de limpieza de cuarto cada dia de por medio. Las tarjetas de las puertas no abren bien. El desayuno esta bien pero muy básico y todo con utensilios descartables, y no hay un mantel en la mesa. Es una lástima porque podría ser un gran hotel

Over all ,this is and older hotel, but it appears to be taken care of, the rugs in the halls were nice and clean. Getting into the room was a problem, you had to put the room key into the slot many times before you would get a green light to enter. This was every time you went into the room. It took 10-15 minutes for the shower water to get warm/hot, every time. I purchased a king size bed but was put in a room with two double beds. They claimed that all the king size were booked. I showed them my confirmation of a king size being booked but they said there was nothing they could do since no king size beds were available. The price was very reasonable

Smells bad in lobby. Carpet on floors in hallway old. Breakfast had no real food. Beds were horrible and small. Nobody at front desk at night. Seemed dark and dingy all over.
