皮爾格姆酒店 (The Pilgrm)

Stayed for a night. With many luggages on hand, location played a huge deciding factor to chose Pilgrm. Paddington station was literally right across one traffic light. It was a no brainer and although rooms was not the largest, the service staffs gave us their best service. It is therefore, highly recommended for people transiting for a night or two at max.

There is no proper reception counter, only 1 staff stationed at the lobby on his/her laptop. Had to fill up a couple of information online prior to check in. They were really kind in allowing us to check in early before 3pm as our room was ready. Service was okay, staff were helpful but not overly friendly as most reviews have indicated. The room only had 1 small side table on each side of the bed which was insufficient for my partner and I for putting our things - e.g. bags, toiletries. Room was barely big enough for us to open our medium sized luggages. Overall and okay stay, would recommend if you’re just looking for a convenient short stay as location is unbeatable right next to Paddington train station and Bakerloo line. It is also on the Elizabeth line which goes to Heathrow airport.

Did not check in at all as the hotel is totally in a messy condition. Unclean condition and stay at your own risk. I asked for refunded, but was told by 訂房網站.com that the hotel rejected the refund with no reason given. I'm totally disappointed with this outcome. Hope that for future customers, please read first before making any booking with them.

This is a really cool little hotel right next to Paddington Station. It’s a little confusing finding your correct room, but once you have located your it there’s usually a cute little pantry next-door with coffee and tea. 24 hours a day. The breakfast is really good and the coffee is excellent. I will happily stay here again. 

The location is convenient if you're rushing to/from paddington but not suitable for light sleepers/ noise sensitive people. I requested for a quiet room in my booking and somehow got a room facing the main street, right above a bar. I wasn't able to sleep in the two nights that I stayed as there were drunk people hollering and shouting downstairs. In my first night, I asked for a room change and they were unable to accommodate. I then asked to cancel my booking for a refund and they said I couldn't since I booked through 訂房網站.com. They also said that was a quiet room already and offered me ear plugs - which I already have. They even implied that I should've read the hotel reviews more clearly since their location above a bar, hence the noise, is quite apparent. So here I am leaving an explicit review for potential guests - DO NOT STAY HERE if you value a good night's rest. Plenty of other options in zone 1 for this price (or for the same noise level, consider a hostel). The room is also tiny, which I'm sure the other reviews also cover, and there's no storage space for a light traveler like me (one cabin size luggage).

I stayed two days and I think there is no housekeeping (maybe u have to request). Location is strategic.

The staff made the experience as they were all friendly, helpful, warm and professional. I would have scored all 5/5 if there was a kettle in the room - thats all i was missing, otherwise it was a great stay and i will return.

It was a pleasant stay at The Pilgrm. Checking in a easy, but remember to online check in first before you guys arrive in order to save time, else if not, you guys still need to do it at the reception during checking in. I booked the single room, and it is literally small, so you might want to consider the size of your luggage for space and not for those that prefers having ample space in room. Room doesn't come w aircondition, but you can bring up the windows for fresh air to enter. Lift is available, but it doesn't connect to all rooms, so some rooms might still need to use the cute and steep stairs, to put into your consideration, but for luggages, no worries, the staff is able to bring it to your room should you need assistance. Staff is friendly, and if you love small and cozy boutique hotels just like me, than this place is definitely for you to try! 🎉

Very bad hotel. The room was small and unclean. Pls think twice before proceeding with the booking. I even forgo one night with nonrefundable, which hotel didn't give any valid reason. The location is good but there are better hotels nearby.
