切斯特酒店 (Chester Hotel)

I recently stayed at this hotel and was very disappointed with my experience. The room size was extremely small and did not match the description of a “standard double room”—it felt more like a compact single. Additionally, the receptionist’s behavior was unprofessional and quite rude, which made the stay even more unpleasant. Overall, the service and facilities did not meet expectations. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience…..25/05/2025.

1、這家酒店的優勢就是位置和價格比，應該是居家該的民宿，把能用的空間都用上了，一個雜物間放張床和一張桌子，就是可以賣錢的房間了，旅店由幾個印度人打理，公告的wifi使不了，要向工作人員要別的賬號和密碼。 2、我住的2層房間，一張床，一把椅子和一台暖氣，在放旅行箱就沒有下腳地方了，房間有一個水池子，洗漱方便。廁所和洗澡間是一體的，在地下室，我的頭被碰了個包。 3、這家酒店的西200米處有家sainsbury's的超市，購物非常方便，離白金漢宮，西敏寺和倫敦眼的核心景點都不遠，溜達著就過去了，位置真不錯。 4、如果是個人窮遊，能省則省，對住宿不是太多要求的，建議可以嘗試。對住宿衞生、設施什麼的有一點要求的，就不要試了。

I stayed there for two nights or three days and this is my experience: 1. Small rooms without any ventilation at all. Very suffocating and smelly. 2. You have to keep window open for ventilation, therefore no privacy. Even if you whisper, its audible the next door. 3. Even if you are staying on ground floor, there’s only one wc 🚽 that is in the basement. 4. One toilet for 10 rooms makes it nearly impossible to poop even after hours because its always occupied. 5. If you want to take a shower, you cannot find any place to put or hang your clothes in that bathroom. I had to put mine on 🚽. 6. There’s no concept of shower-gel in this hotel. You gotta use soap to take bath. 7. There’s no room-service at all. They don’t clean the room, change the sheets or provide any accessories until and unless requested. 8. Its supposed to be air conditioned but it wasn’t at all.

Initially, I was a little skeptical of this hotel after reading the reviews. However, after coming and seeing it for myself, it wasn't as bad as I thought. It is in the best location for tourists. The main places for sightseeing are very close therefore easily accessible. There's an underground and coach station nearby, quite a few eateries too and some shops. Location: 10/10. The hotel itself. They provided shower gels and towels but some of the towels were stained. The shower door didn't close as it wouldn't move. It is also very squished. Not the biggest issue but the bed did not get made after I had spent the night. Also, there was quite a pungent, musty smell in the room. The fridge wasn't stocked up which was good for us as we bought a few sandwiches and drinks. Hotel: 1/10. Also, there is no free parking and you can't park outside unless you have a permit. I think it is free parking after 6pm but you would have to move your car by a certain time. 0/10 In conclusion, it is the best location if you're only stopping for a few nights. I enjoyed it as I wasn't in the hotel for long, just for getting ready and sleeping. Because I was out for most of the day, it didn't really affect me. If I were to come back to London, I would book this hotel again for the location.

Very close to victoria station. Room was quite small but fine for one person.

The booking states 2pm as check-in time and I planned my journey with that on arrival at past 2pm, the receptionist says checking is 3 pm and the room is yet to be clean. The room has a very small space.

Never ever book this place; they are scammers. After I booke,d the check-in time kept changing. The parking was complete, I had meetings around, so I also had a parking ticket.

The hotel is located in a good area near shopping and restaurants. The hotel looks lovely from the outside and inside it's very cozy. The service is great just don't forget to bring your own amenities. In the shared bathroom you do not get anything so be aware. If you get the most cost effective room, there's no windows and the bathroom will be far, downstairs so possibly not friendly for the disabled. Walking distance from metro and the Victoria Station.
