We stayed at the Travelodge on 4 seperate occasions during the month of May 2026 - varying lengths of time from a quick overnight, a few days and a full week. The hotel manager - Ahmalouf (sorry if I have misspelled your name) was fantastic- from organising a different room on our week long stay (when I needed to book something larger), to getting us in a bit earlier whenever possible if we arrived early from an early flight. He had great recommendations from the local area for places to eat as well. All the staff there are actually lovely and very friendly and accommodating. The beds are so comfortable and the blockout blinds work as they should. The area is so convenient as it is less than 5 mins walk from stepney green station and only 15 mins to Whitechapel station or Mile end station - so ultimately you can get around really easily. Buses are also just down the road. The hotel is also only a 30 mins walk to brick lane and everything that has to offer. The area is such a vibrant mix of people there is always something going on! I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are coming to London.

It's very near stepney green station although there are only stairs to the platform. Whitechapel station isn't too far away about 10-15 min walk with luggage if you prefer to avoid stairs. There are also buses that can take you to the city centre/tourist attractions.

Very clean because it's relatively new. The hotel descriptionshouldsay it's 2 mins walk from Stepney Green tube as the address is very misleading. The hotel is neither in Mile End nor Bethnal Green. It's in a pretty rough area so if you're not familiar with London, be careful. You will hear sirens all night. The room was very hot and I very much doubt it was a kingsize bed. My kindsize bed at home is bigger. I was assured it was a kingsize though. The check in took ages. No idea why as the receptionist found our booking and it was pre paid but couldn't explain what the problem was. He was pleasant enough though. Positives were cleanliness and closeness to the tube but just not for me.

Stayed 4 nights prior to flying from Heathrow Airport. Very friendly helpful staff. Good buffet breakfast with plenty of variety and cost £10.75 (March '26). Hotel has a full bar and happy hour. Didn't have an evening meal but good variety and reasonable prices. Facility to keep suitcases at hotel after the 12 noon checkout time if you have a later flight. Bus stop outside hotel along with Tube station next door. Very convenient to get into Central London - bus £1.75 and Heathrow on the Tube £3.50. We have also stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and would stay again. Nice clean and modern with great staff.

Room was clean and bathroom equipped with everything needed. Location was really close to the station so very convenient for getting into central London quickly. We were only given 2 sachets of each tea and coffee but staff were extremely helpful and would give us more when needed as we stayed a while. Shamsul in particular was really friendly and made us feel welcome.
