希望街酒店 (Hope Street Hotel)

畢業十年，回利物浦看看母校，住了三天。酒店和印象裡的樣子不太一樣了，大概是新裝修了。 但是沒有房卡是鑰匙，想當復古了哈哈哈。木質地板雖然好評，但是每天打掃沒有吸地。。。窗外是知名烤肉店shiraz～

When we arrived, we noticed we had been given a far inferior room than we've ever had before. The view was terrible. There was no fridge which we have always had before and the room looked 'tired'...in need of TLC. I went to reception to tell them I was not happy. Anyway they did sort it. Gave us another room with a better view and the young girl on reception brought us an old, but working mini fridge.. so it worked out OK in the end ( I need a fridge to put some of my medication in.) Another lady on the desk was very curt when I said there was no fridge and stated....not all rooms automatically have a fridge in them. Sorry but I thought they did. Whoever makes loose leaf tea in the restaurant needs to learn it is 1 tsp of tea per person and 1 for the pot. In this case 3tsp of tea and not half a teapot full. I kid you not. See pic below. We got a refund for some of the tea, but nit for the cream tea my friend had. My friend had ordered a cream tea and me, just a tea. Yet they brought a pot of tea for 2, which is the wrong etiquette for an order like this. Hence we only got 2 cups out of it, because of the amount of loose tea in there. I think I have been spoiled by the superior standard of the rooms, when we have stayed before....I just presumed all their rooms would be like this

Great stay for a friend’s wedding - room was comfy, bathroom was a good size with bath and shower. The view across the city from the room was great.

Lovely hotel very clean and ideal location to see a concert at the Liverpool Philharmonic

Terrible showers with no pressure. No effort made to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. No special touches as experienced with plenty of other hotels.

Whenever I stay in Liverpool I always stay in the Hope Street Hotel. Having tried alternatives, it is by far the best, and the best value for money. The rooms are to a high standard, the food excellent and the service of high quality. There is nothing to fault.

My favourite place to stay in Liverpool, and probably the whole of the UK. The spa is amazing and is true to the advertised pictures, in fact it's even better because they don't show off everything there! The rooms are spotless and so lovely, the staff are all super friendly and polite and cannot do enough to help. Treat yourself to an amazing high class experience for reasonable prices. The thermal journey is an absolute must.
