Beautiful hotel, really helpful and friendly staff on Reception the room was perfectly clean a great size with everything you need. I sat in the bar and had drinks before going out for the evening and the bar staff were very friendly and professional and the drinks were delicious. 

Amazing Hotel real luxury, most comfortable bed ever. Location excellent, staff really nice , great price through Trip, highly recommended

The hotel was nice in the foyer, dining area and bar, the rest of the hotel felt dark and ill lit. We booked a king size room and got a double room on arrival, also we were told our room would have a view of the Liver Building but it was impossible to see this from our room. The pictures of rooms on the site were obviously from a more updated hotel, as the rooms were dated and not the best, the shower and sinks were very slow to drain and the toilet was not the best, the extractor fan in the bathroom did not work at all, lights flickering in the room, once one was changed others started to flicker. The iron had no cover on the water filler so when ironing water came out. Location not to bad but overall definitely would not return to this hotel.

I’ll start with the positives. Great location by the docks and near to all facilities. An easy walk into the centre and Albert Dock & museums. The bed was very comfortable, the room large abd the check in staff welcoming. However the room lighting is dire. Very dark bathroom and bedroom not much better. Hopeless if trying to apply make up or do anything that needs light. The bathroom looking a bit shabby and almost impossible to flush the toilet. Towel rail wouldn’t heat. So many options in that area that I would probably not stay there again.
