This hotel was excellent! Ideally situated for the M and S Arena, the Albert Dock and Liverpool 1 shopping area. It is literally 15 mins walk from Lime Street Station. Check in was done online and key was ready to collect via a machine in the foyer. I'm not 100% keen on this as I do like the personal contact with the reception. Had to go there to ask for breakfast details so in future would probably just check in there anyhow, but the option is there if you prefer that. The room on the 4th floor was really nice, clean and comfortable. Slight grumbles were regarding the bed being a bid hard and the small shelf, rather than a table in front of the mirror. Breakfasts were excellent, a very wide range of good quality choices. The lounge and dining areas were very clean, modern and well designed. All staff were very pleasant. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Liverpool. It was excellent value in comparison to others we have visited in the city in the past. Will definitely be back! The room was uncomfortably cold at night due to non-adjustable central heating. The shower design caused water to leak all over the floor, no matter how careful we were. We found a black hair on the bathroom floor and reported it, but it was never cleaned. On arrival, our room door was left half open, and we found used napkins in the bathroom — only removed after we complained. There was also a large, dirty industrial air purifier in the room, which staff claimed was normal, though it took up space and looked unpleasant. Overall, the experience was far from what we expected.

The hotel location is very convenient. The facility is ok and the hygiene is good. But cannot feel any warm welcome from the service staff. Just finish the check in and check out process without any smile.

The location is perfect for solo traveling. Great service. Easy to check in. But remember to bring toothpaste and toothbrush. They don’t provide it.
