Rather disappointed with the hotel. Upon arrival, i got a room at the end of the block, with a gloomy ambience. Even the bathroom's light was dim & it dampen my spirit. The carpeting on the 3rd floor was worn out & there were "burnt iron-shaped" stains on the carpet, along the corridor. Somehow, when i complained to the receptionist (en. Ahmad), about my room, he was kind enough to change my room to 2nd floor that was brighter & the floor's carpet looked impressive as compared to the 3rd floor's carpeting. On another note, the breakfast spread offers a variety of delicious food, so kudos to F&B team. Keep up the good job!

Situated in the heart of Taiping City, Hotel Grand Baron offers great experience for families and business guests who are keen to explore the urban city, or just stopping for a detour. The hotel has spectacular facilities, such as swimming pools for kids and adult, meeting rooms, gym and stunning view of the nature from the balcony. The room has everything - bathtub, heater, TV channels, study table, iron and boards, also balcony It is close to local attractions, such as Taiping Lake Garden, Taiping Zoo & Night Safari, Bukit Larut Entrypoint, Perak Museum and the infamous Spritzer water factory (10 mins drive) For adventurous guest, they can opt for ATV experience, jogging across Raintree Walk, strolling in Botanical Park or hiking Bukit Larut.

Saya suka tempat ini sebab tak bising sangat mcm Flemington. Agak sunyi dan sesuai utk santai santai dan berehat. Cuma hotel ini agak dh usang sikit. Bilik suana mcm bilik hantu siot! Seram gila 🤭😂

3rd time checking in with this hotel. Always happy with the breakfast spread and kids enjoy the pool. Room is big and comfortable. Location is nice and quiet. Near Zoo Taiping. Highly recommended for vacation with family.
