祇園紘民宿 (Gionkoh)

房東帥氣且英語很好，也能理解我的simple English。我提前到了，房間空著就提前辦理了入住，省去了遊玩中途折返辦理入住的時間。整個民宿佈局像是一個緊湊的合院，中間有個靜心佈置的園藝：鯉魚池和開著花的紫薇樹。我們住在二樓，一樓有廚房和可以休息喝茶看園藝的走廊。一共可以住5戶，看見很多歐洲遊客住這邊。室內是榻榻米，住3個人沒問題。有乾濕分離的獨立衞生間（淋浴+浴缸）和獨立的馬桶間。對於木質結構的二層房子，爬樓梯和走動時的聲音是你需要預估的。這裡最大的優點是離八坂神社、二年坂、三年坂、清水寺近在咫尺，路上都是各種日式小餐館、咖啡廳、也有711全家以及小診所，走走也能到鴨川或者四條商圈。

Nice and authentic guesthouse with beautiful garden and cozy lounge zone. Near bunch of cool sights: Kyomizu dera, Yasaka shrine, Gion District etc. Hiro was a very nice and helpful host. I felt like home in this stay:)

大正和洋風格，位於京都西側古城內，離清水寺與八阪塔很近

The location of the accommodation is nearby a couple of nice temples / shrines. The street where it is located gives the old school Japanese street vibe that you can see from old Japanese shows. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. If there is anything to be mindful of, do note the walls are slightly thin, so sounds will pass through quite easily, which is why ear plugs are also prepared for those who wants lesser noise.

This is a very cosy and quaint ryokan hosted by a most helpful local, Hiro. The futons were super comfortable and I didn't want to get out of bed. Extremely well located in the heart of the old district, though a bit of a walk from the nearest train and metro stations. Take a cab if you have a lot of luggage. We stayed on the first floor and had our own bath and toilet. Toilet was a bit chilly as we stayed during winter. The bath tub was lovely to soak in for those cold winter nights. Hiro was very patient, accommodating, and attentive to our needs. Thank you for a lovely stay.
