水晶山R酒店 (Crystal Hill R)

The only best about this hotel/homestay is the view. The front desk also willing to change my room when I requested. The initial room that was given to us (room 118, at the level 2) was in very poor conditions. There are 3 rooms but we only use 2 rooms as per the booking. The room at the ground floor was spacious but there is a hole on the ceiling, the door is broken, no hot water. The wall also not clean. The bed os king size, but very dusty. They provide us two towel which i think need a new one. The room on the first floor with bathroom as well. No hot water, not clean, they provide towel. The bed is king size but dusty. There is balcony for this room. But the balcony is not being clean. There is still trash from the previous guest. The reason i asked to change room was the back door to the balcony on the ground floor is unable to lock properly . The lock was broken. The balcony also dirty. There are also trash, cigarette seen. I told the front desk that I don’t feel safe in that room because people may able to break in with the broken lock. So the front desk change our room to room 113 which still in poor conditions but the can be lock. This room is with 2 king beds and 1 single bed. The bed is very dusty with dead bugs on the bed. There is no hot water in the shower. They only provide 2 towels. The room also not soundproof. The guests next door is very noisy. Singing at night. Even when they talk to each other, we can hear very clear from our room. I definitely won’t recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel needs to make big changes and improvement.

Tempat ni perlukan maintainence...toilet bersih, langsir dan dinding2 bilik agak kusam , bilik agak berbau... Tp view cantik gileer... Hrap ada penambah baikan di masa akan datang... Kedudukan hotel ini x jauh dr pekan kundasang. Senang nak cari...

The road leading to the hotel is narrow and broken and quite far in. Toilet conditions are not comfortable, noisy people's voices from outside the room

Great view and location.The facilities provided were clean and adequate .

The view is magnificent. You can see the mountain very clear at early morning. The road condition to this place is quite challenging for 2wd vehicle. Extra cafeful during drive is a must cause some of the road is steep and visibility during night is limited especially when its raining. Overall im satisfied with my stay.

Nice mountain view. Far from main town. No cafeteria or restaurant inside hotel. No shop/food centre near by hotel.

The room is super dusty, the toilet smells like urine, the floor is sticky, the mugs provided feels like they found it underground and serve the guest without cleaning it. Very dirty mugs! The balcony is very very very dusty, a lot of spiderweb and lizard's poop on the floor. Very disgusting. The wall is full of dust, whoever have sinus or allergies problem will have a lot of difficulties to stay here. The tv is not functioning. To make it worse, there are people doing construction and it is very noisy. Everyone become bad mood after the 訂房網站. Please improve!

The road to the location is quite high, luckily we use 4wd drive to get there. Still its reachable and easy to locate via waze. I saw the bad review about the cleanliness (i had second thought at first too but i booked it for the cheap price and my dad wanted to try a different place everytime we go to kundasang😂) but some improvements can be see. The room is quite comfortable and the toilet is clean with fuctioning heater. Still lacking in some amenities, 5 people room but only two towels were provided. The tv is under maintainence during our stay. We didnt use the wifi provided cause we bring our own, the coverage for dg and celcom is quite good. There is balcony in our room but my mom complain about the smoke that travel from other room as the balcony is not fully seperated. The view of Mout Kinabalu is right in front of our room BUT there is ongoing construction at front which will block the view in the future. However there is one balcony outside the building that can see the panorama of the Mount Kinabalu and Kundasang town. Definitely an A+ for the view. We brought our own food as we always do during our 訂房網站 and I would recommend to bring your own as the place is quite far from town and the food there (i saw the food menu at reception) is quite pricey. Still it is a good experience and i would recommend other to stay there. I attached some photos of the view that can be seen from there
