皮皮查理海灘度假村 (PP Charlie Beach Resort)

房間一般，很小，萬幸沒有看見蟲子，設施也比較老舊。但是地理位置很好，泳池很乾凈，關閉時間比較早，出房間幾十步可以直達美麗海灘，酒店附近有一家711非常便利。島上白人很多，但是沒有遇到區別對待的情況。

總的來説非常垃圾！旁邊有一個蹦迪的club ，晚上根本無法睡覺！！！千萬不要預訂這家酒店！一會讓你休息不好

我們訂的是最便宜的200多塊的標準房，感覺就像在五星級酒店裡塞了個快捷酒店，酒店整體很大，外部環境非常好，泳池靠海，很美麗，但是這個標準房的房間非常小，設施很破，不過床品什麼的都還算乾淨，房間靠近酒吧一條街但晚上完全沒有聲音，很安靜。第二天想選貴一點的房型，結果全都滿房了，連這個小破房型都住滿了，衹好搬家，有點遺憾，下次再來吧

Hello, We recently stayed a few nights in the Charlie PP hotel that we booked through yourselves. I wanted to send you this email to provide you with information about their ‘standard’ room, which was completely below standard for any hotel, let alone a 3 star and I wish to raise this to you so that people have a better view of what they are booking. I will attach some pictures of the room to this email, the cleanliness was a disgrace. I’m not one to usually ask for a room clean every day when I am in a hotel for a few days as I believe it’s a waste of time for the cleaners, however I didn’t feel as though this room could be cleaned enough. Aside from the cleanliness, the room was infested with mosquitos. I raised this to the hotel reception staff after the first night, as both me and my partner were covered in bites and more and more mosquitos were coming into our room constantly. I was told that there was nothing they could do as they were fully booked and all other standard rooms ‘have the same problem’, we asked to pay for an upgrade as well which we were also told was not possible. I understand this is no fault of the hotels if they are fully booked, however I asked that the least they could do is give the room a good clean because it’s so dirty and see if they can spray something for the mosquitos, which I was told was no problem and it will get a good clean. Later that day, to my surprise, apart from a made up bed there had been no cleaning in the room whatsoever. The same cobwebs, dust and grime were still in the room. I then asked the next day to upgrade again, because at this point it was becoming unbearable and we were spending as little time in the room as possible because of it’s state. They still said there was no availability and again would get the room cleaned, but as you can imagine this didn’t happen the whole holiday. We went to Thailand for a total of 2 weeks and we stayed in some amazing hotels, a lot cheaper than this one. So was extremely shocked by the standard of the room having paid what is quite a lot for a Thailand hotel. Also to mention, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, even our friends who stayed in the ‘superior’ rooms said how hard and uncomfortable they were. I’m extremely disappointed with the fact this had clouded our stay on such a beautiful island, whilst I understand there is only so much people can do especially if the place is fully booked, nothing was done to help us with the concerns we had raised at all even though it was clear we were distressed about the situation we were in. The staff in general were fine, however this really effected us daily being somewhere so dirty, I am writing to you not only to see how we can be compensated for this, but to ensure you are aware of what it is you are selling to people unbeknown to them. I’m not usually one to complain, so don’t like having to do this. However, I felt this has to be raised as it’s completely unacceptable.

nice hotel, very good location. beautiful pool. A bit annoying that for the sunbeds in the pool they ask for a minimum order of 2000 baht for drinks and food.

Hotel itself is really nice, location is great; right at the center and best part is, the noise doesn’t get to the room so if you decide to stay-in it won’t bother you despite being right in the middle of the action. The pool’s size is enough and the kind of “infinity pool” has a great view to the bay. Straight Access to the beach and bars and have lots of green and the villas rooms you feel you are in the jungle. I stayed at the superior room within PP Princess although is just next to PP Charlie… room was not big and no balcony but was enough for my 3 nights stay. My first impression at reception was really bad, they need to work on ‘Customer Service’ the woman at reception had a long face and an attitude, then she could not find my paid reservation and she was demanding me to pay again — she got really rude when I refused and I showed her it shown as paid. She rolled her eyes at me and left me there without saying a word to get her manager. Manager had a better attitude and she accepted it was hotel’s mistake and apologized. Once arrived to the port, staff from hotel help you with luggage (see photo). My favourite part of hotel was the pool!! Hotel offers some excursions although around the island there are lots of agencies that offer better pricing and more options, just stroll around to compare. I didn’t get the breakfast, only paid for the first morning and to be honest the quality and variety could improve — not bad but there other better options at a walking distance. They have another “secret pool” which entrance is by the beach and is on a higher level (see photo) some rooms have direct access to it — I found that area was a bit neglected and old hence I preferred the main pool.

Our stay at PP Charlie was amazing. The room was spacious and offered little luxuries we were not expecting like flip flops and beach mats. The tv has access to Netflix which we enjoyed. The resort is close to bars and restaurants but you cannot hear the noise from your hotel room. The pools were refreshing and it was easy to get a sun lounger. The breakfast was good, there was ample variety and always had an option which suited us. The hotel collected us and our bags from the pier and took our bags for us when we were leaving this service was very much appreciated. We would stay here again.
