Good location. Good cleanliness. The room is average. Washroom is small. Break fast is ok. Room dine service is limited.

The residency hotel location is central, but the lane where the hotel is situated is permanently choked with cars. The food is average, and amenities are average. We stayed in the annexe in a deluxe suite but it was inconvenient. The furniture is old and cracked in places. Ac remote and hot water geyser didn’t work properly. Twice there was black grit in the tap water. Also, i was made to walk to the main reception (3-4 houses away) for queries because there’s no intercom connection between annexe and main hotel. But the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast lacks variety. Their airport cab service was also not sure.

In pursuit of a comfortable and peaceful weekend stay at the city of joy, i found this little gem with extremely cooperatice staff and cleaned rooms. I would suggest everyone that if you are new in the city and searching for a all round place to stay, then the residency hotel is the perfect discovery for you.

The property is located in a beautiful locality and it is very close to major traffic hubs like golpark and gariahat crossing. The rooms were very neat and tidy and the staff courteous and hospitable. We also had a fantastic menu for the complimentary breakfast. All in all, would highly recommend staying here.

The room provided initially was absolutely sub standard. The bed sheets were torn, the fridge stinking with putrid food, lift not working. Further, there was no facility to close the door of the bath room. The staff was arrogant and got into an argument when the deficiencies were taken up with them. It was when i disclosed my official identity that they behaved finally i was shifted to another room in another building at no extra cost. The size of the dining hall is too small and guests have to stand in long que to get breakfast. The hotel, everything considered is unfit and is not recommended for stay by anyone
