城堡之家 (Fort House)

As an Indian family, I feel compelled to warn others about our experience at Fort house. What should have been a pleasant family stay turned into a humiliating ordeal during checkout. The management accused us of stealing their hotel towels, subjecting us to mortifying luggage inspection in our vehicle in front of other guests. Even after they couldn't find anything, they couldn't be bothered with basic decency to apologize. What made it more revealing was watching the same manager who checked us transform into an accommodating host for foreign guests shortly before this. I am sure this wouldn't have happened if the guests were foreigners. The experience was extremely hurtful as my son had to witness their parents being treated like criminals. Several towels were still in our room, which makes this even more absurd. To my fellow Indians planning a stay here: be prepared to be viewed with suspicion and treated as second-class citizens in your own country, regardless of how much you pay. What was meant to be a special family vacation turned into a racist experience that was only available in foreign lands.. Our much needed family break turned out to be a nightmare that will be hard to forget.

Fort House Hotel is well located at the water’s edge. Rooms are large and clean with a large comfortable bed. The shower had ample hot water. The restaurant is very good. The setting with its beautiful gardens is calm and relaxing.!But be aware that there is currently building work taking place close by and that the sea view does take in the port for container ships.

The location was good, breakfast was great. However, the rooms were smaller compared to the price that we paid. Deck area was nice.

I enjoyed my stay. Staff were very cordial and helpful. The view is great. Restaurant to the seaside was an added attraction for me.

The location is simply wonderful. We were very well received at the lobby. Well appointed and reasonably spacious room. Ordered dinner through room service and were served hot and tasty food. Breakfast was skipped by us at it commenced at 09:00 and we had to leave early to trivandrum. The place looked even more beautiful in the morning light.

We stayed at fort house for 4 nights and have had a pleasant stay. The location is superb, the rooms are clean and cozy and the breakfast was delicious.

Location ambience excellent food choices can be better - average as breakfast very few choices no buffet breakfast. Service also good

A place close to the ferry with good ambience and good food with good service. Since it is right next to seagull and few other cafes, there are other options for food as well. We had a good family time.

I have been visiting this place for the third te and i must say they have maintained the quality of this place.

The resort is by the backwaters of fort kochi, right next to the coast guard headquarters. The ferry station is a 2 minute walk from the resort and it's decently close to the hot spots in the locality. The staff is really nice and service is good. Food was good too. The rooms are clean, we'll maintained and spacious. The resort is green, quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing vacation. My only issue is that there was no running hot water or geyser.
