Stayed in the Dukes Head hotel- Kings Lynn to meet with friends the day before a wedding. The hotel itself is located well in the centre of town and on first look in good condition around the outside and the lobby. Our room on the other hand was not great. The shower was leaking, the floor not cleaned. The worst of it was being placed next to the lift, the noise was ridiculous, like having a tv on full volume all throughout the night. I noted this to reception and no apologies or acknowledgement to the issue seemed to sync in. I would not recommend staying at this hotel at all.

The staff were extremely helpful & the room was very clean. The room was a little on the small side for a double room. It was difficult to get out of bed on one side. I wasn’t aware there was a £10 charge for the car park but I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel décor was lovely — the reception and lounge areas were especially wonderful. Breakfast was also lovely. Unfortunately, the room let our stay down a little. When we arrived, it was extremely hot and no fan was provided. The room itself was beautifully decorated and very spacious, but it wasn’t as clean as we would have liked. We would stay again, but next time we would probably book a different type of room.
