阿爾法瓦尼亞大陸旅館酒店 (Continental Inn Hotel Al Farwaniya)

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all. I booked as it was close to the airport and it said in the description it provided an airport shuttle. This is true, BUT when we called the Indian man on night duty said they didn’t have this service - we said it was advertised on 訂房網站.com and he changed his mind and asked us for our flight details and arranged a pick up. The bed was nicely made, but bathroom was disgusting, and the room smelt of stale smoke. For a 3* they gave a bar of soap and one small bottle of shampoo, this hotel barely scrapped a 2*. We had to call around 10+ times to say the WiFi didn’t work, they kept resetting but we gave up in the end. When we tried to arrange a return shuttle back to the airport in the morning, the Indian man said they didn’t have the service again, once again we repeated it was advertised on Trip, he said no you have to stay min 2 days, then he said 2-3 days, then he said it’s only a one way service, then he said it costs 7kwd to use the service. Then when I asked to speak to someone Kuwaiti, that really got under his skin. He switched his behaviour and started barking at me. I said can I have your name please, he said who are you?? To ask my name??! I’m the night manager that’s all you need to know. He was SO rude, I’ve stayed in 100s of hotels but it’s the first time I’ve ever being spoken to like this, esp by a migrant worker from India. He said if I want to speak to someone I need to come to reception in morning at 7am. But that was the Egyptian manager and I wanted to speak to the owner of the hotel, not the people who make up random rules to fit their agenda. The Indian man called us at 7am, saying I know you don’t have money so I’ve organised a pick up for you. How disgusting to say such a thing not once BUT TWICE. Like he had done us a favour, not because he was scared me escalating it to the hotel manager. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from him. He should be sacked if this hotel wants to keeps any reputation. conveniently beside a mosque but not worth the hassle. Go somewhere else.

Excellent!!! Staff at reception helpful I have arrived early and check-in time at 2pm and I checked in without any question. Bed comfortable, spacious room basic amenities there. General domestic task was little slow overall I had great experience and would like to stay again.

The staff were kind and friendly. The location is great for short visit and only 15 minutes from the Kuwait international airport. Airport pickup and drop off service is available.
