You couldn't expect better service at a 5* hotel. All The staff were so attentive. The food both included and paid for was delicious. (I love star fruit juice!) The room was spacious. The only tiny issue was shower drainage. Seriously loved our 3 nights here!

В номере есть все,что нужно-чайник, телевизор, фен, горячая вода в душе. Очень понравилось наше пребывание в этом отеле!!!

Отель красивый, очень просторный номер, можно заказать ужин в номер, цены как в кафе для туристов, порции очень большие. Хороший вид на озеро и зеленые растения. Есть кондиционер, фен и все необходимое. Очень приветливый персонал.

Very pretty and nice resort with mountain view. Friendly staffs and super super nice breakfast. However, it is too fat away from Kandy city center, you have to pay 1500+ rp for each ride, and most tuk tuk drivers don't prefer to go to this place. The google map shows wrong way and the team knew about this, but informed us just on the day of arrival, making this journey even harder.

A beautiful eco retreat with breathtaking sunrise views over the surrounding nature. Waking up here in the morning is something special. The food deserves a big mention—the chef is excellent, with dishes that feel thoughtful, fresh, and full of local flavor. Peaceful, well run, and perfect for slowing down near Kandy.

A deeply disappointing and unsafe experience – not worth the risk I paid close to AUD $400 for two nights at Kandy Victoria Eco Resort, and unfortunately the experience was nothing like what was advertised. We arrived late, only to discover that the main access road was under service. The hotel never informed us of this, and instead of being transparent, they allowed the booking to proceed as normal. As a result, my family was forced to drive through a dark, unlit, steep, unpaved track surrounded by grass nearly two metres high. It took about 15 minutes of navigating one of the scariest, most isolated roads I’ve ever encountered as a tourist. Even our local driver was shaken. When we finally arrived, the manager insisted that the sunrise and scenery would make up for it. Yes, the view in the morning was beautiful—but no scenery can compensate for the fear and risk we went through, especially with my wife and three children in the car. The experience was so unsettling that I had my daughter sleep with us, and our driver slept in the same room as my boys because none of us felt comfortable. We left after the first night, yet the manager showed in the system that we checked out on the second day, which I found misleading and unfair to 訂房網站. . I will now be requesting a refund for the unused night. To be fair, the room and bathroom were acceptable, and the two staff members we met were kind. But the lack of transparency, the dangerous access, and the overall stress overshadowed everything else. If you choose to book here, make sure you arrive during daylight and be prepared for a challenging and potentially frightening journey. This place may suit adventurous travellers, but it was absolutely not suitable for a family, and I would not return.

I was very upset my stay had to be pulled out after 2 days for only reason that the accommodation was not safe to reach from kany or outside , firstly the road was steep and the tuk tuk abd small cars struggled to climb safely, the route which Google directed was not straight forward, we almost got killed in a tuk tuk way up and thus scared us abd we pulled off, never safe to go late night after 6pm. The food abd the views were amazing no questions about the service etc but thus all overrules from safety aspect, the accommodation should clearly mention that in there advertisement saying its only suitable for ppl who like adventures and take risk hiking, not advisable for stays for family with young children or old ppl. There was a couple from Oz befire us they got terrified and canceled the stay and complained and left immediately but the manager would not appreciate how dangerous and terrifying it would be for ppl reaching the place remotely. I wouldn't advise this place purely because of safety accesing it. I will attach some pictures to give you more understanding. I had to report to 訂房網站. Com to get back my booking charges and book an other safe hotel. This ended up disaster but I'm glad I retired back on one peice. The only access road to this property is extremely steep and currently affected by damage from flooding. Even local drivers have advised that it is unsafe to use. This creates a serious risk of being stranded or injured and makes it unsafe to continue staying at this property. The hotel’s refusal does not override 訂房網站’s duty of care to guests. Continuing to house guests where access is affected by landslides and flooding is unsafe. Please escalate this as a safety and misrepresentation case immediately . This situation constitutes a material misrepresentation of the accommodation. 訂房網站’s platform standards require accurate property descriptions and reasonable usability. The unsafe access road was not disclosed at the time of booking, despite being a known and ongoing issue, as evidenced by a public review dated 26 January 2026 confirming that another couple also left early for the same reason. As the property cannot be safely accessed, the accommodation is unfit for purpose and cannot be used as booked. Under 訂房網站’s service standards and applicable consumer protection principles, this warrants an immediate full refund.
