Very friendly and helpful owner.

I only left this place this morning, but I already want to go back. It felt like a home, the host/owner and his wife are super lovely, greeted me every time I came back or said goodbye to me whenever I left. It felt like I was coming home at the end of the day. You get a tea on arrival and I opted for the bento box breakfast for my first morning. I came down at 10 and it was there waiting for me, they play nice Japanese music while your waiting downstairs, although the hosts weren’t fluent in English we could communicate just fine, there English was good enough, although I did try to speak Japanese, the room was so nice and big, I love a tatami room it’s so cosy, I liked snuggling up in the bed at night and watching my tablet, the bathrooms where nice and I just loved the ryokan feel. If I ever find myself in kanazawa again which I willl, I will most definitely stay here again! If you don’t book here your not doing kanazawa right.

Words cannot describe how great this hotel is. The rooms are spacious and clean, the downstairs common area is beautiful, and the food available is stunning. But nothing even comes close to the hosts. They are such genuine and lovely people, easy to chat to and proud of what they have. My first night I was somewhat anxious but the host was so warm and welcoming, leading to us having some lovely conversations over a nice glass of beer. Even after I had forgotten to return my key after checkout, the host offered me to drive me back to the station in order to get the train. This didnt feel like typical service, it felt like pure genuine kindness and pride for a lovely business. If you're in Kanazawa you'd be doing yourself a disservice by not going here. Even if you're not staying, swing by for lunch or one of their extensive range of teas.

El alojamiento precioso y el olor a paja de arroz del tatami inunda la habitación. El personal adorable y muy servicial, nos ayudaron a reservar nuestros billetes de bus y tren y nos sirvieron un riquísimo desayuno tradicional. El día del check out nos acompañaron hasta la puerta para despedirnos. Realmente una experiencia maravillosa. No podemos estar mas felices con nuestra estancia, 10/10.

店主さんが気さくな方で出かける際や出発の際に聲かけていただいてとても心地良かったです！ 設備はウォーターサーバーの水が空っぽになってるのは気になりましたがその他良かったです！ 水路が近くにあるので音に敏感だったり神経質で寢れないって方には不向きかもです！ 自分は気にならず寢れたので大満足でした！
