Hotel room was ordinary like 1 star food was good. Reception was also not that praiseworthy. No power for full night. No heater on due to no power. No hot water.

The staff was really polite and hospitable. The property is also beautiful. It has great views of the majestic mountains. I would most definitely recommend it.

Wonderfully located & has the most beautiful scenic beauty. The staff are the most courteous, food & other amneties are simply superb. This was our second visit & we hope to visit this place again & again.

The property isn’t stroller / wheelchair friendly and a lot smaller than it looks in the pictures. Service is average for what you are paying (though the staff try hard - lack of training i guess. Old school charm of the property and excellent view could make up for this.

Elgin is a heritage property which is very well maintained with extremely sweet and courteous staff. Would recommend staying here for the view, location and ambience!

I don't have words to describe this place . This actually made me n my mumma fall in love with kalimpong. This property has an awesome ambience and lush green gardens make it look so beautiful. Rooms are royal enough to make you feel like a queen . Courteous staff were like cherry on the cake . would definitely come again and would also suggest others . ❤️❤️

We stay there for four nights 5days. Room was very small. Comapere with the picture. There no ac. So it's a real problem for the month of may jun e. Bathroom was okay. Food was good. Quality was okay. There is a bar inside, which is good. Location of the hotel is very prime. From my point of view it is little bit overpriced.
