What a view! ✨️ I stayed at Paragon Suites @ CIQ for 6 metropolitan nights and waking up on the 27th floor, with a huge balcony to myself and the city of Johor Bahru laid out before me, was special and spectacular. The pink evening sunsets were an arresting sight to behold and I loved watching the city come to life after dark.... The absolute jewel in the crown for me was the incredible rooftop swimming pool overlooking the whole city. It was enormous, safe, secure and simply brilliant. I swam every single day and night - typically with the entire pool all to myself - and couldn't get enough of it! There's also a glass-fronted gym, which seemed to be popular. The apartment was huge. There was a good-sized bathroom with a shower and jacuzzi bath, a proper kitchen, washing machine (although no detergent was provided), fridge/freezer, dining area, lounge and an enormous double bedroom boasting two queen beds. Both the lounge and bedroom had AC and smart TVs. The WiFi was brilliant, which was a real bonus as I was working during my stay and managed to get loads of work done. I also walked to the JB checkpoint in under 15 minutes, which was really handy - although I was admittedly dicing with death on those busy main roads! The building felt very safe, with a conspicuous security presence and friendly security guards. There's a general convenience store on Level 1 with lovely staff and an unexpectedly brilliant Indian restaurant, Bharat Indian Cuisine, directly across the road. The hot, gooey cheese naan bread became my go-to! The big let-down for me was the cleanliness. The kitchen surfaces and contents were really grimy and greasy, and I had to perform a deep-clean before I felt comfortable using any of the cutlery or appliances. The floors needed a proper vacuum and mop, and there were hairs everywhere. The sofa and throw cushions were also looking a bit tired and grotty. I don't mind somewhere being basic or a little dated, but it really does need to be squeaky clean when you arrive. A couple of smaller things: the jacuzzi bath is quite old and could definitely do with updating, and the bedroom TV remote control wasn't working, so I couldn't use that TV. I raised this with management, but unfortunately nothing was done about this during my stay. Despite the cleanliness issues, this was still a great-value stay. It's a really spacious apartment with AMAZING views, brilliant WiFi, a fantastic rooftop pool and excellent security. The location is quite remote, and there's not much to do in the immediate vicinity, but the rooftop swimming pool, cityscape views and being able to walk to the checkpoint more than made up for that. Give the place a proper deep clean, replace the sofa, ditch the scatter cushions and you've got a seriously good apartment. That glittering cityscape and rooftop swimming pool under a Full Moon are hard to beat! 🌕

Nothing great other than view. Service request is attended by AI on what's app. There are ants crawling on dining table. Heater capacity is insufficient to fill a tub for hot bath. The hotel is called jacuzzi suites but jacuzzi does not work. Security staff are helpful. Convenience store on 2nd floor is well stocked.

Ants on bed,dining table even sofa. Aircon spoil in bedroom,have to sleep without Aircon,lucky only 1 night.At the start when I first went in,all plugs and Aircon are not usuable,have to own self do the DC box,DC box for their electric is 訂房網站.After turning on,air in bedroom spoil.Not a good experience

I had a great experience here! The place was very clean and well-maintained, which made it really comfortable. Overall, the location is still really good and generally clean😍😍

it was a short stay but it was comfortable! would recommend if you are driving in jb as it will be more convenien
