老闆是一位40左右女士，很熱情，我是租了輛摩託車走島波海道的，這是第一晚的落腳點，老闆看我騎車來的，特意要我把摩託車停到邊上的一個車棚內，好NICE，然後又介紹吃晚飯的店，就在隔壁，晚飯後又安排了附近大浴場，送了2張門票，好棒！雖然語言不通，但能感覺老闆的用心。

Really fantastic - amazing food, and we were given free access to a fantastic local onsen, including lifts to and from the onsen and everything we might need for bathing

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Ryokan Chaume. This family run Ryokan made us feel at home. The manager drove us to and from a terrific onsen nearby and afterwards we were served a delicious multi-course dinner. The drink list was excellent too. After a tasty Japanese style breakfast we needed help making an onward reservation, so the manager made several calls on our behalf and found us a place that had a last minute cancellation. I would recommend the Ryokan Chaume to anyone looking for a high quality inn.

Fabulous ryokan set in a gorgeous village. We only stayed 1 night, as a break in our cycle 訂房網站. Our host was amazing- so thoughtful. She even gave us energy drinks and sweets for the second part of our 訂房網站, as well as driving us to the onsen (a welcome after a long day of cycling). As for the dinner and breakfast - stunning. Beautiful presented and delicious. Highly recommend.

One of the best stays I had in Japan. The ryokan has a very interesting story and it is owned by the same family for 10 generations. They were lovely, treated me and my friend very very well. Highly recommended

I had a wonderful experience here! The rooms were spotlessly clean, but the highlight was definitely the hospitality. The hosts are so approachable and were proactive in helping me arrange luggage forwarding to my next destination. They truly provide solutions for their guests and make traveling through Japan so much easier.

This graceful ryokan has been running a business for 150 years located in a sedated little town. Maybe it’s off season. I felt I was in the middle of nowhere worrying what to do with my time there. However Izumi San the host has been helping me above and beyond trying to make me feel welcome. She escorted me to and from the onsen each night punctually. She got all the information for me to rent a bicycle and get me the bus time table ready for me to travel to Hiroshima. Btw the bike ride was amazing and is a must do for islands hopping. Although we communicated mostly through Google translate and some of my broken Japanese. We have had some good laugh. Chaume did offer me couple of restful nights. To Izumi San, arigato gozaimasu. 💝
