Fantastic gem hidden in the derbyshire countryside, with its long winding drive opening up to the magestic priory...the right touch of modern decor and historic architecture greets you along with cheerful and very helpful staff. The rooms were grand and very clean, with nothing to much trouble. Will stat again and have already reccommemded it to friends

While our stay was lovely, staff where helpful and friendly. I originally asked for a nice view unfortunately our room was round the back of the hotel and looked out to nothing. One of our beds had a stain on the sheets, we asked housekeeping if they could change it and when we return it had been done. The restaurant service, views were lovely and the food was delicious. Once back in our room we found when the lamps where on there was alot of cobwebs floating from the ceiling and in the bathroom vent. For the location and price you wouldn't expect things like that to be missed.
