We had a very nice stay at Hotel La Croix, it is walking distance to the beach. When we first got there, we had asked if we possibly could get a room with a view and was initially told our room initially assigned is on the lower level and has construction view. Manager offered to upgrade us for a fee to a higher floor room. It has a very nice view of the beach but being that the room has 2 windows, the other side is still a construction view. Beds are comfortable and room has everything we need. Because of the upgrade, we had received access to the Monkey pod room which provided free bottled water, canned drinks and snacks. Overall we had a pleasant stay there. Didn't get to enjoy the pool, but it's also nice that the hotel has ABC store right downstairs and free coffee in the morning in the lobby.

The hotel is alright, especially considering the price comparing to surrounding hotels.
The facilities needs a bit of maintenance.

Nice location. Polite, kind staff. Room has fridge but no microwave. Convenient park adjacent. Chairs are uncomfortable. Beds are comfortable.

Location is pretty good, easy walkability to the shops as well as the beach. We were initially put at a low level and couldn’t sleep due to road noise. They had zero issues with moving us up to a higher level and everyone was super helpful. Overall the experience was good, however there were a few bugs that kept showing up in the room.

Hotel is having some renovations. Clear signs of age. TV is out of date and so is furniture and decor. The drapes had mold growing on them.☹️
Customer service was good. Has a ABC store next to main lobby.🤙👍
