I booked this hotel for a night of luxury after the Ha Giang loop to be able to for a nice swim and have some relaxation after a tuff 4 days. However, upon arrival I asked where the pool was and they explained to me that I could not use it. When I asked why they said it was closed today. Which was not a good start as this was one of the main reasons I booked the hotel. Then I requested to be far away from the elevator and on a high floor when I made my booking. Then they placed me on the 3rd floor in a room that is right next to the elevator. Which really ruined my stay as the walls are paper thin so I could hear the elevator dinging constantly and could hear all the traffic from the road, which really disturbed my sleep as I woke up several times. These few things really ruined my stay. Overall the hotel is pretty but there a small inconveniences even in the design with bad grouting in the tiles and uneven tiles in the bathroom. Also there wasn’t an extractor fan in the shower so after showering the whole room was filled with steam. Lastly, during breakfast I wanted to get coffee but the jug had ran out I sat down having breakfast for approximately 30 mins and the coffee jug still had not been refilled despite asking so I had to leave without coffee. Instead drinking diluted orange that they had labelled orange juice. So unfortunately this really wasn’t the night of luxury that I had hoped for!

This hotel is as central to Ha Giang as it gets, room is clean and modern, staff are very friendly and can speak English. Our family stayed here twice, before and after completing the Ha Giang Loop
