Love this place. Have stayed a few times now as it's central to Groningen and the university, but quiet enough as it's not on a busy main road. There is a great roof top terrace bar as well. Rooms are clean and come with kettle, coffee machine, hairdryer and fridge as standard and for a reasonable price compared to others. The staff are always friendly and helpful and, of course, speak perfect English! Only issue i had this time was not being able to use the TV on my last evening due to a technical issue.

酒店地理位置非常好，就在市中心，走個拐角就是格大。 衞生較差，床上發現不少頭髮，設施也比較簡陋。但屬於還能接受的範圍。 勝在性價比。

From the moment I stepped into The Happy Traveler Hotel, I felt genuinely welcomed. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, making me feel at home right away. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I appreciated how they offered local tips that truly enhanced my stay. The room was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with both comfort and practicality in mind. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the linens fresh, and the bathroom sparkling clean. I especially loved the little touches—like complimentary snacks, quality toiletries, and a cozy reading nook—that made the space feel personal and inviting. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable. Situated close to key attractions, public transport, and charming cafes, it made exploring the city effortless. Despite being centrally located, my room was wonderfully quiet at night, ensuring a restful sleep after a day of adventure.

The Happy Traveler is a family-run hotel and this is visible every step of the way. The staff are friendly and very helpful, and the hotel itself is designed with care to ensure a pleasant dtay. The Happy Traveler is located 50m from the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, and everything is within walking distance, with a couple of good bars right under the windows. I will stay here whenever I am in Groningen.

Konumun mükemmel olması nedeniyle şehir içi gürültüsünden dolayı pencere kapalı olmadan odada kalamazsınız.  Yataklar temiz, tuvalet duş yeni ve temiz.  Özellikle sile işletmesi ve çok ilgilendiler.

"Happy Traveler" hat uns gut gefallen. Es liegt so central, ist richtig nett und passend zum Namen eingerichtet. Die Zimmer waren für Alleinreisende, aber mit großem Bett; richtig gut und alles sehr sauber und mit Pflegeprodukte. Die Zimmer liegen zum Innenhof; um Lärm abzubauen, sind von innen Fensterläden. Draußen im Innenhof wird es am Abend halt laut, weil die Menschen dort sitzen und das Leben feiern. Das Hotel weist vorher darauf hin und es gibt im jeden Zimmer Ohrstöpsel. Meine Meinung ist, entweder geht man selber lange feiern oder man kommt damit klar, da es wirklich sehr laut ist 🙃 Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und prima! Das Personal sehr freundlich!
