There’s not a lot (if any) of nice options in Grand Junction, but I stayed at super 8 the night before, and it was a complete mess. I was hoping for a better experience here, which I did get. But I was still unimpressed with the outdated furniture and bathroom, my ice bucket had the old bag of ice from the previous guest with water still in it. The front desk crew was super nice, so I appreciate that. I feel like at the price point, every room should have a refrigerator, luckily they were able to store my cold food downstairs in the community refrigerator. It wasn’t a bad experience, but I feel like Doubletree should do better even in a place like Grand Junction.

I always stay at either 4 or 5 stars hotels. Selected this hotel amongst others as I think it would be the same standard as other Hilton hotels but I was totally wrong. I might get pleasant stay if i chose either quality Inn or Super8.

This particular hotel does not step up to Double Tree standards! The service was fine, front entrance was fine, but the rooms were horrid. The second you syep off the elevator, you can tell the carpets were worn and outdated! The room itself was horrid. Big stains on the carpet, mold in a corner of bathroom, and drapes were hooked wrong and wouldn't close. Room was very small. Bathroom very outdated. I would expect this from a lower tiered hotel but not a Hilton property. And definitely not worth the price. Heck the cookie was even hard! Hopefully they upgrade and remodel soon
