Check in took about 2 hours. Booked under Trip (3rd party) can’t check in using kiosk. I asked the officer and he gave me Q number for counter. Waited for 90 pax. When reach counter the lady mentioned need to pay RM15 for counter check in.She mentioned I supposed need to go to kiosk check in assistant. But the officer at the first place didn’t mention this. The instruction is very messy. Hope Genting can improve this and give a clearer instruction.

This hotel was a terrible experience. Sure, it’s cheap—but only if you don’t mind bad service and poorly maintained rooms.
First, we made sure at the self check-in machine not to select a twin room, as we wanted a double bed. The first room (7722) we were given, to our shock, was a twin room, plus the shower didn’t work properly—the water was either scalding hot or freezing cold, with no way to adjust it.
Then, they moved us to room 13703, hoping it would be better—but the shower had the exact same issue. It seems like the whole tower 1 has problems with water temperature. We had to wait for a very long time for maintenance, who got stuck in the lift for an hour. The receptionist offered no help and just told us to wait
When the maintenance person finally arrived, he changed the showerhead, which obviously didn’t fix the water problem. After wasting an hour waiting for this, we were forced to change rooms again.
The service was completely nonexistent. No apology, no explanation, nothing. We wasted half a day dealing with this. The whole experience was just awful, especially compared to my previous stays at this hotel, which had no issues.
To make matters worse, the room change process was completely disorganized. We specifically requested a double bed the first time, and okay.. they changed it ofr us—but the second time, the receptionist just switched the room without ensuring it had a double bed. This level of service—or lack thereof—is unacceptable. Even if this hotel has the most rooms in the world, but their rooms are all poorly maintained and their staff have no service. No wonder its only rated 1 or 2 stars.

Room was very small, staffs were not helpful at all. Very rude. Rich dad restaurant bangladeshi staff prepare food without gloves and mask. Washed metal which he took in e sink, and washed under running water without soap and was stirring the omelette for nasi pataya. Very disgusting. Other than that everything was gd.
Check in was a tiring effort. Need to queue up , only 1 person managing all bookings from different platforms Trip,Booking.com, Agoda, C訂房網站 etc to just get digital access. That line will took easily 1/2 - 1 hour queue. Tried 3x just to obtain this verification. Then only u can go to the booth to issue room card!!
