Amenities available for name sake. Power was cut for 2 hrs at night. No proper room service. No mineral water for drinking. Basically an average hotel with amateur service staff.

We were unable to stay at the hotel because we were unaware that Gangtok/Sikkim is a restricted area for some foreign-born travelers. Since I was born in Tibet and my birthplace is clearly mentioned on my ID, I was not allowed entry at the Sikkim border. I booked the hotel through 訂房網站 and did not know how to request a refund. I contacted the hotel for support but unfortunately did not receive much help regarding the refund process. My disappointment is not about the hotel’s hospitality, but the lack of understanding and assistance in this situation. For anyone holding citizenship from countries such as Australia, USA, Canada, etc., if your birthplace is listed as Tibet on your passport/ID, please make sure to apply for the required Sikkim permit/visa in Delhi before booking accommodation. Otherwise, you may face entry issues at the border.

Great hotel situated in a peaceful location about 20 minutes walk downhill/ 5 minutes cab from MG Road area. Options for mountain view rooms with balcony for calming views. The staff are really attentive and welcoming. Has a pool and outdoor dining area. On the minus side … bathroom shower curtains need a good clean and towels + bed sheets could also be cleaner

Very steep hill. Difficult to climb. But located in good area. Staff not very competent.

Great views of the surrounding hills from the balcony. You don’t get a view of the Kanchenjunga but the location is calm and a shirt 10 minute walk downhill to MG Road. Staff are extremely attentive and helpful. Only downside is cleanliness could be improved in the bathroom shower curtain, it needs a good clean!
