【禁菸】河口湖畔的現代日式住宅

Where to start! The owners are a super lovely couple that felt like our local guides from the time we met them. We opted for the tea ceremony before we checked in and that was the right call as we got to visit the owner’s parent’s home where not only did we learn about Japanese tea traditions but also see a traditional house. The couple were so generous with their time and information. After they took us to a hidden spot to see the Mt Fuji. The hotel is really well designed and cozy. They have put in a lot of thought and care to make the place comfortable for the guests. It’s also away from the most crowded spots of the Kawaguchiko area, making it a very relaxing oasis (but also a bit harder to find Ubers especially on Sunday mornings. You may want to pre-order or ask the owners to book a taxi.) They also helped us find a place for dinner (we originally wanted to book the dinner with a private chef but they were all booked out, so make your reservation in advance). 100/10 experience!
