法蘭克福市中心海軍上將酒店 (Hotel Admiral Frankfurt City Centre)

A little off the beaten path but still in a relatively nice location. About a 15 min walk to central downtown or a 2-3min metro ride. Nice grocery stores and restaurants in the general area. The room itself was small but comfy. The bathroom had a small shower with amazing water pressure and super hot water. Was quiet at night and had a comfy bed. Overall, nice for the price.

I needed a hotel near the Frankfurt Zoo for one night on July 01, 2026. Among several similarly priced options I chose the Admiral because it was the only one offering an "ausgiebiges Frühstücksbuffet" (extensive breakfast buffet) on their website (screenshot attached). But there is no breakfast in this hotel, nothing at all. The receptionist told me she couldn't do anything about the website. But it came worse. After I had checked in in the afternoon, I returned to the hotel at midnight. There were two customers in front of the main entrance, telling me that their hotel-íssued cards would not let them open the door to get in (it was their third night at this hotel they said, and their cards had worked just fine before). Neither did my card work. Standing on the street in front of the hotel (nobody at the reception desk), we kept calling the phone number given for emergencies in our booking confirmations as well as on a sign next to the door. There was no answer for 25 minutes, which is when we called the police to ask for advice. Police couldn't do anything but telling us to call the number that we already had dialed unsuccessfully. Then a fourth customer arrived, only to find out that his card didn't open the door either. He called that number once again, and was lucky -- lucky insofar as somebody actually picked up. But when he had described the problem, all the "service" agent had to say was that we needed to put a card on the sensor "just the right way" to open the door. Adding ******** to injury .... and no, there was no hotel staff nearby who could solve the problem for us. Fortunately, 40 minutes after I had arrived, another customer turned up in the lobby coincidentally, and opened the door for us manually from the inside. Next morning, when I was leaving, I complained (very politely, I must say) to the receptionist. Up to that point she had not been aware of any problems. In conclusion, there are many alternatives in very easy walking distance from the Admiral; end of story. Winfried S. Peters

Gostei muito da experiência no hotel. O atendimento foi ótimo, as instalações são super confortáveis e a localização é excelente. Tudo muito limpo e organizado. Com certeza recomendo e pretendo voltar!

The room was very central to walking destination icons. The room was small but suitable for one person. It was clean and serviced on request, thank goodness for the mini fridge, where I could have cold water. There was no air con and it was very hot.
