佛羅里達市經濟型住宿酒店 (Budget Host Inn Florida City)

This was the most horrible stay of our lives. We arrived in the evening and there was nobody at the desk. We ring the bell, knocked on the door and window’s. We called the motel directly and still no answer. After more than 1 hour we found  someone of the guests who had another number of somebody of the motel. Finally somebody showed up, but still it took some time to get our room key. Once in the room, the TV remote was sticky and not working. The towels were dirty and the bathroom looked like it was never been renovated as everything was rusty. The soap was already used. The swimming pool was not accessible. After complaining the next morning she wanted to give a compensation, as we booked this via a third party Trip this was not possible.. so Trip, please reach out to us.

After arriving we had to wait 30-45 minutes to check in as their system was down. We had to pay an unexpected cash deposit of $50. The room smells like mould and smoke. The toilet paper contained a spider, and we watched a lizard run across our ceiling. The walls and doors are damaged and in disrepair and the bedsheets have cigarette burns in them. The television does not work and the remote control is so dirty that it feels like a health risk. All through the night there were guests playing music and singing right outside our door, so a good sleep is out of the question. It’s cheap to stay here but it’s not worth it.
