伯多尼酒店 (Hotel Bodoni)

It was a very pleasant stay, although I didn't get to spend much time in the hotel as I was just in Florence for one night, breakfast was nice with variety of choices, staff were friendly and can speak English, room was clean, AC was working perfectly, everything including the duomo was in walkable distance (only like 10 mins walk to the duomo). I had to leave the room key to the reception everytime I leave the hotel which felt a bit strange at first, however apparently this is a norm there as my brothers who were staying at another hotel at the time had to do the same as well. Last but not least, you can have a fantastic view of the city at rooftop of hotel, especially nice to see the sunrise! Will definitely stay here again, highly recommended!

Mir wurde das Zimmer N. 30 zugeteilt. Leider ein unzulässiges Zimmer: unglaublich klein; die Decke sehr niedrig; zwei kleine Fenster über dem Bett offen; die Toilette unmöglich eng, sodass man sich kaum wenden kann und während des Duschen muss man sich fast übers Klo legen; das Wasser von der Dusche flog gegen die Tür und somit ins ganze Zimmer (Zimmerchen!!!); man kann fast alles hören, was im b4nachbarten Zimmer los ist. Dann kommt noch hinzu, dass man am Ende 4,00 € kassiert hat... Davon war - als ich gebucht habe - keine Rede. Es scheint, alles sei Grund genug, um ans Geld des Besuchers zu kommen. Das Frühstück war ordentlich gut. Auch der Empfang war mit netten Menschen besetzt. Ich bin der Meinung, dass ein solches Zimmer überhaupt nicht zugelassen werden dürfte. Ich werde dieses Hotel (meine Erfahrung beschränkt sich auf das Zimmer N. 30. Ich kann von den weiteren Zimmern nicht reden! - keinem von meinen Freunden oder Bekannten empfehlen.

The place is very near from everything, the staff is very friendly, the breakfast is very delicious, the room is very big and clean and the bathroom is very clean as well. I loved the hotel and the city. This was the best experience in europe so far.
