An amazing hotel located in the centre of Florence overlooking a beautiful Piazza surrounded by restaurants excellent shopping and to die for sightseeing attractions. For some reason I got an upgrade to a suite which was sensational a lovely complimentary bottle of red wine together with a packet of biscotti. The rooftop pool and bar were sensational with sensational views as well. Not a cheap hotel by any means but well worth the money

The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful throughout. The hotel is centrally located, so ideal for lots of walking to the main sights in Firenze and within a 10 minute walk from the train station. Unfortunately, the room we had didn't have any view apart from some rooftops. However, we were out most of the time enjoying the food, drinks, and sights of the cobbled streets of the town.

入住經歷不佳，標註了高樓層安靜房間，而且辦理入住的時候也再次強調，但是接待人員一口咬定我的房間就在二樓，真正拿到房間發現是下沉式房間，衹有兩個類似於天井的小窗，關鍵問題是靠近機房，轟鳴聲不停，後強烈要求換房間，酒店前台説是給我“升級”了房型，（此時不明白為何會對我如此優待？）如果我要換就不能升級房型了，我説沒有問題，就要我本來預訂的甄選房，然後給我一間同樓層的房間，酒店房間挺大，但是隔音效果極差，隔壁講話洗澡都聽得清清楚楚，第二天一早訂房網站介入，因為我要求提前一天退房，但訂房網站跟酒店溝通無果，酒店願意給我高樓層同房型房間，我再次跑上去看了房間，的確風景隔音都不錯，就是不明白開始的時候酒店為何不給我這間房間？需要我再次整理行李換房間？為何寧願所謂升級房型給我，也不願意給我高樓層同房型？

O quarto onde fiquei era bom, até porque tinha um pequeno terraço ajardinado onde podia fumar. No entanto, era ruidoso: ruído proveniente da ventoinha do ar condicionado no interior do quarto; ruído proveniente da conduta de ar condicionado no exterior - terraço; ruído proveniente das máquinas dos elevadores, creio. Tenho facilidade em adaptar-me aos locais e o terraço era um must, motivos pelos quais decidi não reclamar, mas aqui fica esta nota para que possam proceder a eventuais reparações, e um agradecimento a todo o pessoal do hotel.

Grand Hotel Minerva is closed to the Florence train station. The hotel is classy and the staff are very professional. Rooms are clean & nice view of the town center. Bedding are comfortable and breakfast spread is great. Enjoyed my 1 night stay in this hotel.
