This definitely has motel feel. If you are wanting a hotel experience this is not the place for you. It is however very well priced with free breakfast, a beautiful view of the mountains and clean rooms. The beds are actually very nice more like a hotel and that's the most important thing to me. We would stay again.

Expedition Lodge was nicely situated near restaurants and all that Estes Park has to offer for tourists. It was quiet and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The front desk staff were knowledgeable and had friendly, humorous personalities. Breakfast was good, although everyone enjoys a nice scrambled eggs and sausage now and then, which was not available. Overall → Clean premises, safe environment with great views. A wonderful overnight stay!

The location is good for visiting Rocky Mountain National park. The hotel staff is very helpful and there are restaurants and supermarket near the hotel . The hotel facilities are good.
