Future guests should be aware that, despite the advertised 11:00 a.m. checkout time, you may be expected to leave earlier. In my case, I was treated rudely simply for checking out within the stated checkout time. I chose this guest house because it was conveniently located near Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the concert I was attending. My check-in experience was excellent. The husband was very friendly and welcoming, and even gave me a printed guide showing the easiest route to the stadium, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, the checkout experience completely changed my impression. At around 10:40 a.m., the wife knocked on my door asking me to leave. When I politely asked if I could stay until the advertised 11:00 a.m. checkout time because I was still finishing packing, she rolled her eyes and gave me a disapproving look. I rushed to pack, vacated the room by around 10:50 a.m., and left the property at approximately 10:57 a.m.,still before the official checkout time. Before leaving, I quickly used the shared bathroom. I later realized I might not have pressed the flush properly and immediately went back to check, but the wife had already begun telling me off. I apologized, explaining that I had been rushing, but she continued speaking to me in a rude and confrontational manner. It is disappointing that the final 20 minutes overshadowed an otherwise pleasant stay.
