拿完行李找到hotel parking的地方,找到紅色的牌子下,打電話給酒店,要和人工説在哪個客運大樓,留下名字和電話,酒店15-30分鐘內會派車來接。
(一開始我們在紅色牌子處看到hilton garden inn的車就上去了,到了酒店才發現不是同一個)
酒店房間的礦泉水要收費,大堂有免費的冰水可以接,有小賣部。房間沒有牙刷牙膏和拖鞋。走路10分鐘有個商區,有in n out burger和7-11。
記得提前定,臨近預訂會漲價。

很不愉快。事先提前三天給該酒店通過訂房網站官方連結發了郵件給酒店表示當日會提早入住,大約在12點左右。飛了一夜的飛機人困馬乏來到酒店是上午十一點,説是沒有空房間。第一個接待的女士讓我等一下到十二點來。
OK,美國酒店規矩大,checkin是下午三點。雖然我提前發過郵件,但還是入鄉隨俗吧。於是12點再去問了一下,説是還沒有空房間。這樣一直到一點,實在困得不行,通過訂房網站客服,要表揚一下客服馬可,很快給酒店打了電話協調,結果立刻就有空房間安排入住了。收了提前入住費用。
其實12點我已經明確説過可以付款提前入住的費用,以前去其他酒店都是這樣操作的。而且我也告知前台,飛了一夜的飛機非常疲勞,希望儘快休息。畢竟年過五十了。但是前台非常冷漠,一副高高在上的樣子。
我生氣的點不是不給提前checkin,而是自始至終前台都衹是很官方的在那裡説沒有空房間,沒有哪怕和客房部打過一個電話溝通。就一直很官方的説房間沒有打掃出來。我想問一下房間是到下午三點瞬間一起打掃出來的嗎?我提前發的郵件沒有人看嗎?

After flying all night, exhausted, I arrived at the hotel at 11:00 AM, and was told there were no rooms available. The first lady I spoke with asked me to come back at 12:00 noon.
OK, American hotels have strict rules — check-in is at 3:00 PM. Even though I sent an email in advance, I decided to respect the local customs. So I went back at 12:00 PM and asked again,still no rooms available. This went on until 1:00 PM. I was so tired I could barely keep my eyes open. I then contacted C訂房網站 customer service, and I want to give credit to the agent, Mark, who quickly called the hotel on my behalf. Right after that, a room magically became available. I was charged an early check-in fee.
To be clear, at 12:00 I had already explicitly said I was willing to pay the early check-in fee. I've done this at other hotels before. I also told the front desk that I had been flying all night and was extremely exhausted, hoping to rest as soon as possible. I'm over fifty, after all. But the front desk was very cold and acted as if they were above it all.
What makes me angry is not that they wouldn't let me check in early. It's that from start to finish, the front desk just gave me the official line: "no rooms available" without ever once picking up the phone to talk to housekeeping. Just that robotic response: "The rooms haven't been cleaned yet." I want to ask: Do all the rooms magically get cleaned at exactly 3:00 PM all at once? And did nobody even read the email I sent in advance?
