聖所 (The Sanctuary)

This place is truly a little corner of paradise. It’s almost impossible to put into words how much we enjoyed our stay and how special this place is. The owners — an Englishman and a Filipina — are the perfect mix of warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail. They genuinely go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable and are happy to accommodate almost any request, always in such a natural and unobtrusive way. The rooms are comfortable, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The air conditioning is quiet, the mattresses and pillows are incredibly comfortable, and everything you might need is provided — right down to shower gel and a toothbrush. The hotel is still relatively new and everything is in excellent condition. There are free SUP boards for guests, and you can also rent a scooter from the hotel if you feel like exploring El Nido for the day. And then there’s the food… that deserves a review of its own! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, and the cocktails were fantastic. You can order fresh seafood, or even buy it yourself and have the team prepare it for you. My husband loves grilling, so we arranged to get some meat and had our own little BBQ evening. One of the staff members was genuinely excited to help and learn how it’s done — such a small moment, but incredibly warm and touching. My husband also wanted to go fishing, and the local fishermen were happy to take him along. Unfortunately, we simply didn’t have enough time during our stay, but knowing that such experiences were so easily arranged made the place feel even more special. That’s the beauty of a small boutique hotel like this. Unlike huge resorts, they can actually respond to the individual wishes of their guests and make you feel personally cared for. At the same time, there is absolutely no pressure to socialize. Everything is beautifully balanced: if you want to chat, there’s always someone happy to talk to; if you want privacy, you’ll have complete peace and seclusion. It truly feels like your own little paradise. If we ever return to El Nido, we will absolutely stay here again. Thank you to the wonderful owners and the whole team for such a memorable stay. AMAZING!!! Thank you for allowing us to spend a few days in paradise!! Fantastic views, fantastic service and super kind owners!! The zany ocean floor and stays shallow far enough that it feels like a giant swimming pool! Food was great- drinks were cold and views were magnificent!  It is a bit off the main road to get there but that’s what makes it special and not packed with people- well worth the journey to get there. Highly recommend it and we hope to come back again one day soon!! Thanks again for such a fantastic experience! :)

Simply wonderful. The Sanctuary is truly a fantastic escape. As other reviews mention, it’s far out of El Nido town along a rocky road, but nothing a rental scooter can’t handle. The owners and staff are so helpful, and give you real suggestions that help make your stay 10/10. Our excursion out of El Nido was cancelled due to regional typhoons, and extending our stay was seamless, leaving us with extra time to relax and enjoy our time on the island. The rooms are clean, modern with island charm - if you want somewhere that’s top-notch and great value, choose The Sanctuary.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Dean empfangen, obwohl wir mit Verspätung fast gegen Mitternacht ankamen. Das liebevoll gestaltete Resort liegt direkt an einer Bucht, der Strand war sauber, ruhig und perfekt für uns. Das Essen dort war sehr gut, auch die Spaghetti Bolognese war wie daheim! Unsere Woche dort war unser Highlight von unserem Philippinen Urlaub. Wir würden nächstes Mal auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Danke an Jenna, Dean und Shirley für alles!

I think I’ve stayed at about 15–20 different accommodations and spots on Palawan so far. As soon as I walked into this place, I immediately had the feeling that it was something special. And I was right. It’s simply amazing and I highly recommend it if you’re looking for peace and quiet and just a beautiful, paradise-like spot. Dean and his crew are just wow. El sitio es el paradiso si quieres tranquilidad y estar en un sitio único ! Además los trabajadores son todos muy amables y serviciales. Te ayudarán en todo lo que necesites. Muy recomendable

Самый лучший отель в которым мы были в Эль нидо. Все сотрудники даже основатель отеля очень приятные. Нет шума, пешком 5минут сразу же море, все было прекрасно.

По факту рай на земле, очень понравилось. Отель новый, чистый все аккуратно, всем рекомендую
