It’s a little high up on a hill, but the view from my balcony was gorgeous. It’s also right off the main street, so if you don’t mind the trek up and down you’re still relatively well-situated to be near the backpackers’ bars and restaurants and shops. Breakfast had a lot of local Sri Lankan options which I greatly appreciated, and staff was also happy to explain each dish to newcomers. A small piece of advice for the team though: perhaps hire a few female staffers? As a woman traveling alone, one of the first things I noticed was the all-male staff—or at least, I didn’t see a single woman working there in my 2-night stay. I don’t have a problem with it, but newer solo female travelers might unintentionally be scared off

由於老公生病，這個酒店又續住一晚，酒店景色無敵，在房間裡就看到山峰⛰️瀑布九孔橋火車穿越橋和山林。酒店頂部的無邊泳池🏊，觀景台更是一覽無餘。清晨的雲霧繚繞，彷彿置身於仙境之中。

We had 2 nights in Hotel Onrock. It's a nice hotel and the staff go out of their way to make you comfortable. The breakfast was good. The only thing is that the hotel is located quite high up, and the walk-up is very steep. Other than that, all was good.

Отель отличный, все необходимое в номере есть, даже тапочки, мебель и сантехника обновлены. Находится недалеко от улицы с ресторанами, 5 минут спуститься с горки. Пешком до начала трейла на девятиарочный мост примерно минут 20. У нас был номер с потрясающим видом, из окна видны горы и водопад. Хорошее место по соотношению цена/качество

Definitely gotta be one of the best hotels in Ella, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious, and the view is even better, I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Ella

よく朝6時にサンドイッチをお願いしていたが、フロントからキッチンに伝わっておらず慌てました。しかしキッチンのスタッフが手際よく作ってくれて、ものすごくおいしいサンドイッチを5分で用意してくれました。感謝です。場所は非常に狹い急な阪道なので車大きい車だといけないと思いますも、重たい人だと登れないと思います。歩いてチルのレストランまで5分なのでロケーションでには最適です。山川ではなく、眺めの良い部屋を取ることを絶対にお勧めします。

Симпатичный отель. Дают тапки и зубные наборы, что редкость для Шри-Ланки. Очень вежливый персонал. Жили и в номере с видом и без него. Самый дешёвый номер будет с видом на стройку.

Great hotel, with unbeatable view of Ella rock on the balcony. However the room did not have universal plug sockets, the hotel provided a hairdryer but did not fit the plug socket. It is also very difficult to get to with suitcases. Fine if you’re backpacking, but carrying suitcases up the massive hill is very difficult. Perhaps the hotel should look into purchasing their own tuktuk to ferry customers up and down the hill. Not everyone is a backpacker!
